Gaming Can WiiU display virtural consoles on gamepad?

I havent bought one but i am curious to see if wiiu virtural consoles can show up on gamepad at all?

Not presently as Wii BC doesn't show on the gamepad.

I expect Virtual Console to be implemented in the Wiiu's not-to-distant future, however.

Of course, there is nothing to say whether or not Nintendo will upgrade existing "Wii VC" to be usable on the Gamepad, since they are simply emulators with the games packed in them. Would be nice if they did.

Home consoles VC (like SNES, NES, and stuff) I dont bother to see on TV, but portable VC only makes sense if played on Game Pad. Let's hope that Nintendo do well their job. By the way, is there any VC already available on WiiU?

But the gamepad isn't portable, nor would it be a portable VC. If you want a portable VC get a 3DS, they have a VC on there and its portable (meaning you can take it anywhere and still use it).

I have a 3DS already, and I dont believe that we will see portable games on WiiU, but the gamepad opens a possibility to bring portable stuff to WiiU. It is not a huge upscale, so the game wont be weird on gamepad.
On ambassador program they bring home console games to 3DS, so if they bring portable games to WiiU, it will be not a surprise.

I bet Snes games would look swell on it......or even N64 games, the pad seems to have all the necessary buttons and more...

Wii virtual console doesn't work on Gamepad...
However, Nintendo might release virtual console for Wii U, which might work on Gamepad.
