For making a joke about Dr Who that contained the word "reTARDIS" I got banned from the miiverse for 3 days. What a ****ing joke, the moderators on the community boards need to get their heads out of their asses, this is absolutely rediculous

Anyway, the warning to you all is that the moderators for the Wii U community are completely overzealous and if you post ANYTHING that could even remotely be considered offensive you might get banned

EDIT: Called Nintendo this morning, they said that I shouldn't have been banned for the comment and that it should have just been deleted with a message coming my way reminding me about the code of conduct. I was unbanned and they put a 20 dollars credit on my shop account to "say sorry, my bad"

Considering Nintendo is trying to keep the Wii U very family friendly, this is not surprising. Banning is a bit harsh, but at least this could lead to less "OMFGLOLBBQ! YOMAMMASUX!" in CoD :3

It's the whole thing, I got banned from the whole network it turns out, so I have no online content right now
Ok, that's pretty rough. :P
At least you know how strict they are now. (and alerting us too)

I have noticed a pretty high ratio of deleted posts on miiverse. They must have hired P1ngy XD

My drawing of the Nintendo 64 N is kinda high on the popular list in the Nintendo Land community

Yeah, I thought at worst it would end up in a deleted post, but not a whole ban. That's just overkill, especially on a first offense. Anyway, I think I'm going to go to sleep now since gaming right now isn't going to happen. I'll call Nintendo in the morning and let you guys know what happens.

There’s no body monitoring the nintendo network its just a Bot that catch what it thinks as a bad word so try typing the word Bass and it might think its ass.

I am actually very happy with this. ^_^ I mean, who doesn't want a clean place on the internet? Or who doesn't want to just freely enjoy the internet without being offended? If nobody wants that, I do, and I am sure a lot of people do.
But to be completely fair, that was kinda.. too much. But still, if that's the price we should pay for having a clean community, then be it.

EDIT: Just to be clear, I in no way happy about you being banned @OP. I am happy about the moderation, don't get me wrong.
