President Satoru Iwata praises smartphone market for aspiring game developers, but says it's not the right path for Nintendo.
Well good, if Mario were to be developed on Smartphones, it might as well be stupid.
Most likely to just be a puzzle game in my thoughts.

 You know what this link is, its the source.

*EDIT: Plus, I agree with the comment, in the comments in the source, smartphone games get pretty boring later on. I was a freak for temple run lol, and later on, it made me fall asleep, and got bored of it.

$0.99? The president might have missed the fact that big game developers such as Electronic Arts and Square Enix ported their games to smartphones, and put price tag between $7 - $17 (depending on title).

People were expecting a $0.99 Mario game?

Still, I guess it's encouraging to hear this. I'm glad to know Nintendo won't just smartphone it in.

Don't think anyone expected a 99 cent version or even a mario game on a smart phone. Just these muppets who think everything needs to be on a smartphone just because it can be

Well, it's better than having to wait an hour before you can press a button to watch yet another hour-long cutscene.

Truth! Yeah! I hate when you end up playing a game, waiting a rather long time to play, only to find that you got to sit through a movie rather than playing a game! I really think that RPGs especially need to give you an option to skip a cutscene. Especially if you've already seen it once or twice!
