Wait, what am I saying lol? That was not the question. Nevermind, read the answer above.
Naw, I thought he wanted to unban his XBox, so I carefuly described the procedure and gave my own opinion about it (stealing another console's ID and returning it to the store = Duchebag levels over 9000) and then realized that he just wanted to update.Got you ninja'd ?

Which is why I don't recommend it either - I just know that it's doable and it works, it just practically means that you sacrifice one XBox to save another. Now, if you have a broken XBox with its memory still dump-able that's not banned at your disposal - that's different.Foxi what are you doing? ;o;
There is a way to "unban" yourself but you can't really connect to Live again.
It's just injecting a clean KV into your NAND and spoofing the OSIG to your DVD drive + setting your DVD Key to the KV.
Only drawback of that method is that you'll need the jTAG wires permanently attached or the RGH chip permanently enabled.
Your method is indeed a bit....... not wanted here on the Temp ;p

By "broken" I meant "some non-essential part broken", like, the drive or some port or the radio module or just plain cracked and nasty, not "burned to a crisp".Now I know why you're always getting new consoles the day after they break down
Hmm won't work unfortunately.
You'll need the CPU key (which is only extractable from XeLL) to decrypt the NAND dump.
That being said that RRoD's (after being "fixed") need to boot atleast once to XeLL before you can decrypt your NAND dump to grab the unbanned KV.
If you dump your NAND and open it on 360 flash tool it'll give a Bad KV error on your KV + boot loader set.

STOP BEING PICKY, THE METHOD WORKS! ;O;(...) Providing that their RGHable or jTAGgable ofcourse.

...all of a sudden I don't even want to try. 2Straight4UI'll kneel for you if you actually manage to glitch a Xenon which is on 16197
