Some memory cards are just quirky like that - try the methods above, but also do try to eject and re-insert the card a few times. If worst comes to worst, you may have to use a data recovery tool.

1 - Try a different card reader on a different computer. If it still won't read the filesystem (at the least) is damaged.

2 - http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk This is a data recovery tool you can use.
Your idea sounds working, but I can't format it.. :( It says Windows can't complete the format.
I tried using Panasonic SD formatter, and it's Disk G:, which is not supported...
This is for my Acekard btw..

Formatting it will give you even more headaches in having to recover files from it after deleted.

Anyway, the fact that gives an error while formatting makes me think that the card's bogus and that there won't be any way to recover the data.

Rydian's right, if there's something that will work, that's TestDisk. It also has a built-in Recovery Function, which is probably the most powerful I've ever used. That would recover stuff from a rock.

It's entirely possible that he cannot format it simply because the read/write pin on the SD card is obstructed, corroded or otherwise inaccessible - happened to me before and can be rectified by cleaning the pins with high-volume alcohol and a q-tip.

If it can't format it, there's something really messed up.

Try another reader and computer. If it does the same stuff there, then it's broken.
Thank you guys so much! I've used another computer, and it's fine..

Phew, I'm glad that it's not broken, and I have to download movies again for moonshell :O

I claim one victory point.

Now, make sure that you backup your important files and format it from the working computer. This will get rid of any corruption caused by the flash cart and help it run smoother. Once you've done that, copy the files back.
