Just yesterday, I found the will to install and try NullDC on my newish laptop to see how more recent builds perform on my hardware.
It was a blast.....60fps all the way with almost everything I tried, near perfect video rendering, only some minor shadow issues here and there, but on the plus side, the games are rendered in HD and I managed to configure my xbox 360 controller to play it.. which is an amazing feat, as I must admit, as much as I love my DC , the controller is pretty crappy, especially the analog stick...
So yes, the Dreamcast lives on, I'm having so much fun today to play it, as 10 years ago when it was brand new and the most powerful system out there !
I whish I had the space to hook it up on my TV, but frankly, between the inconvenience of the cables,vgabox, inferior controller and a dodgy disc drive laser, I'll have to stick with emulation for the time being.

I'm starting to save for the Vita but, if it's another console with a short lifetime, I don't know what i'll do, I mean. The Dreamcast died out once the PS2 was made, didn't it?
Although TBH people really jerk off over the Dreamcast now.
It's also, in retrospect, regarded as ahead of its time and as a "hidden gem" of a system.
