China to Receive Exclusive Mario-Themed 3DS XL Models

iQue are releasing exclusive Mario-themed 3DS XLs in three different flavors. They will come pre-installed with Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7. There is no word on a suggested retail price, yet. Click the source for more details and close-up images of each design.

So Japan gets two Pokemon-themed 3DS XLs [1, 2], and an Animal Crossing one, while China gets three Mario-themed ones. I wonder if we'll get any love out in the West?

Well at the risk of sounding like a broken record, I'd really like an Ace Attorney and or PLvsAA one.

And a Monster Hunter one would be awesome too. Just like the white and red one for the regular 3DS.

I want the Charizard one so much. I hope they do draws in North America as well. Even if I could get entered in the Japanese draw, that'd be cool.

nintendo's got a licensing deal with iQue, not that long ago.
they released a semi-flash/download version of the n64,
also the DS and cant remember what else.

All I see is an easy way to pirate the outer shell, and other plastic parts of the 3DS. I assume what he meant by hardware is the actual internal electronics.
