Gaming How to change of SD?

I want to insert another SD in my 3DS and I was wondering what I have to do to do it. I have some apps in my SD card and I want to put another SD just to watch some videos. Then I will insert my SD again. So will I have any problems putting another 3DS and not to let the apps to appear? Thanks

Sorry you're not being clear, what I am kind of understand is that you want to know how to put another SD card INSIDE the 3DS, right?

Either you'll buy another bigger SD card and copy all the stuff to it.

Or, change the SD card each time you want to watch those videos (By powering down the 3DS and replacing the SD card)

i'm sure you can have two sd cards; one with your apps and the other with videos only. why not just get a 16gb sd card? they're only like $10. enough for your apps and videos

Nada malo debería de pasar, al menos eso es lo que yo creo. Pero si algo malo pasa, apaga la babosada y inserta la SD memoria de nuevo al 3Ds que tiene todas las aplicaciones y lo prendes.

Translation: Nothing bad is to happen, at least I think. But if something does go wrong, turn off 3DS and insert SD card with apps and turn it back on.

I am half Japanese(currently live in Japan) and half Salvadoran and thus I speak spanish you know. So I used fellow since we both at least speak spanish I assume o.O

anywho back on topic:

If I were you get a 16GB SD card like someone recommended earlier.

I have no problems with English xD
The problem is that the SD is from my camera so I dont want to have everything in it because when I have it in my 3DS I wont be able to use my camera and vice versa
Anyway, I'll try what you said

The 3DS manual states that the system should be powered off before removing the SD card. So as recommended, having one card for everything is ideal.

You're best off using an SD card of a larger capacity solely for your 3DS, ideally a 16GB SD card since they're very cheap nowadays and can typically last you a very long time. I personally use a 4GB and am very interested in upgrading to a larger size because I can barely hold much stuff anymore, and all I really have now is pretty much just games, no music or videos.
