Pikmin 3 is scheduled for release for the Wii U console in the spring of 2013.
Not sure what region he is talking about if any but hopefully it releases to all of them. There is also news that the WIi U pro controller won't work with Wii games forcing you to buy a classic controller if you want to play Wii games that way.

Currently Nintendo releases are international, and since it is a "launch window" title... It should be.

Wii U Pro not accepting Wii games is just stupid. They can just disable some stuff on the Pro which makes it act like a classic controller instead of making people shell out more money for a Classic.

Well to me it is best not to assume things like if it is an international release but I guess it isn't a big deal.

You never know they might patch it so it can support it.
Someone already posted the info about the Wii U pro controller not accepting Wii games my bad.

Because that's how it works right? Because they obviously don't have to make extensive changes to the games themselves, right? No, just tell em to turn this off and turn that off, simple!

The way running Wii games on a Wii U just wouldn't allow it to work, it's kinda like bitching that you can't use a classic controller on Gamecube games.

It works that way because of the money.

I'm sure the Wii U is powerful enough to tell the Controller Pro to disable some of its functions for some of the games. Since it doesn't have a screen it IS just a nicer designed CCP. It's made incompatible because of money.

Isn't the classic controller a piece of crap compared to the GC controller?
