****Read Edit****

So im trying to copy fifa 13, and when i click install game it shows install fifa 13
I click yes, and it sits at 0% forever
I tried with wiiflow and it also sits at 0%
But the first time i tried to copy it, it got to 70% then it froze, any ideas?

Edit: i decided to clarify a bit for whoever didn't understand
I got the game Fifa 13 for the wii; i decided to make a backup copy of it via wii drive, with USB Loader GX.
I clicked install on GX and it froze for a min, the wii started making sounds, then a pop up message showed. "Install Fifa 13?"
I hit yes, then i started installing; i left it there for 15-20mins, and it got to 70% it stayed there without moving, so i left it installing for a couple hours. When i got back, 70% still.
I decided to shut the wii off and try again tomorrow. I tried again today, and it now stays at 0% forever, doesn't move at all; i tried Wiiflow also, and i got the same problem.
I tried to install different games and none of them worked; every single one, stuck at 0%.
I know my wii isn't broken because i can play the game via Disc Channel, and i know the Disc is in good condition cause its fairly new and only has a few small scratches.
Now, my USB Flashdrive is a 32gb PNY flashdrive, and i had never had a problem installing games on it before, just yesterday.
I don't think my flashdrive is broken since like i said, it installed games on it before, and the games currently in it work fine.
I tried formatting it again, and nothing.
I use a wbfs since the flashdrive is rather small.
I have no idea what to do, and if anyone has any ideas, they would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks guys.

I dont want to because fat32 takes up a lot of precious space i can use for more games if i have wbfs
Don't automatically assume that the drive is good, test it.
I use "badblocks" for such tasks but thats for unix like systems.
There should be filesystem agnostic tools for windows around too.
Windows itself includes such function only in the filesystem checker.
(Another reason to switch to fat.)

While fat32 will actually "waste" more space for that drive I would still give it a try.
(For large drives it can save space, but I don't know the breakpoint)
If only for testing.

BTW: how many games do you expect to fit into the wasted ~60MiB?

I didnt quite understand how to check the memory for bad blocks
And for this particular game its not that much space, but it adds up- with like smbw i save like 3 gb and with mario galaxy 2 another gb or 2 and that all adds up to extra space

You are mixing "ISO size" and "Game size".

On FAT32 the game has the exact same size than on WBFS partition! (without taking the cluster size in account)
To put a game on FAT32, you convert it to a specific format (called .wbfs file), you don't use the 4GB .iso file.

Just convert your partition to FAT32.
Then use WiiBackupManager to put the games on your FAT32 partition and it will be compressed exactly like if they were on a WBFS partition.

fat/ntfs + windows: explorer, drive, rclick. properties, tools, check now, scan for...bad sectors, start
any FS + unix/linux possibly osx: badblocks -vs /dev/sdX (iirc check manpage)
anything else: should be possible but I don't know how, ask google

I don't mean 60MiB wasted for some game, I meant the total space wasted

Got it, I scanned it and it said there were no errors found, So i guess i'm good

I have lived inside a lie for months lol, i guess i'll make the change to Fat32!
Idk if i'm doing it right...
I loaded the isos to the program then clicked transfer Wbfs file and selected my flashdrive, is that correct?

You can also mount the drive in the "Drive 1" tab, then that tab will display all your games already installed (they will be in /wbfs/game name [GameID]/gameID.wbfs)
Then when you select a file in the File tab and select "transfer to Drive1" it will convert the iso to wbfs (like if it was a WBFS partition, really the same process).

be sure to select "Title[ID]" format in the settings of the program, because some loaders don't work with the other path format.
There's also a setting "convert naming convention on mount" if you want to auto rename folders quickly in another format.

Still talking about Fifa 13 game, right?

Yes, use the USBLoader's dump or install function (could be named differently) to copy the disc to the HDD.
But first, convert your drive to FAT32 (do not format it, you can convert it without loosing games, use PsyBlade's tool wbfs2fat linked in our signatures) and then be sure it's working fine in the loader, that you see all your games, etc. (if not, it can be a wrong path format, like I said above. Just rename the folders using WiiBackupManager's setting "update naming convention on mount").

Idk if my flashdrive is broken or what, but games will NOT save on it, from the computer or anything, its been saving a simple game for over an hour now with barely no progress being made, idk whats up with this.... it usually took about 10mins max to save a big game.
Anyone have any ideas how i can go about this? this is most likely the reason why my game wasnt saving.... do i need a new flashdrive?

You can read/write big files to it without problem on the computer?

you can try another one, but it's not normal that it stoped working suddenly on the Wii while still working on computer.
You didn't change anything on your Wii? (updating your mods? changing cIOS? updating USBloaders, etc?)

The writting speed on a computer is about 50bytes/second!
Its extremely slow, it stayed copying a game 12hours and got only halfway there.... idk what is up with this.

And no, i did not update anything

It's even slow on computer?
It could be your drive dying (the USB to flash), but you said it didn't detect any bad clusters/sectors or errors. (you checked the "search for bad sectors" setting too?)

Maybe you should use another device.
Sorry I don't have more idea if you already formated it and it's still slow even on computer.

But the flashdrive is relatively new /: but Yeah thats what i kinda found odd too
No errors or bad sectors at all yet is super slow
Maybe i should buy a harddrive instead
Which harddrive wont do this to me? Which is a trustworthy one?
