Hardware What do you guys think about this keyboard and mouse.

Hi everyone i am looking for a gaming mouse and keyboard and came across these two amazing deals.

the Cooler Master CM Storm Quick Fire Pro SGK-4010 which is 59.99 after rebate and 30 off code.

both come to 125 before shipping so what are your views on them.

I've never used a mechanical keyboard (had my Logitech G15 for years) but they seem a bit pricey to me.

As for that mouse... I wouldn't know where to rest my thumb. I'm the type that moves the mouse by holding onto the sides (claw type) rather than moving with my palm (palm type), and reviews say that claw type people would suffer from this type of mouse. Then again, as long as it works for you... that's what matters.

For me, I've been using SideWinder mice for years, because they're the most comfortable to hold.

The keyboard look good.

I used to had the same mouse after a couple months the mouse start to make squeaky noise and had double click issue.
I wouldn't recommended.

Those Cherry MX keyswitches should last you a long time and the price seems good for a mechanical keyboard. If you wanna save a bit more money, there's Microsoft's Sidewinder X4 keyboard. The cheaper G400 mouse is a fine choice.

Well mate, in my experience, don't skimp on computer hardware. if you're gonna spend money, make sure you get the best gear for your budget.

Personally I can say that it's absolutely lovely to not hit the limit on how many keys you press at once which is an issue a whole lot of keyboards have.

In most cases issues like that probably doesn't matter since it can be hard to hit said limit, but once you do start hitting the limit somewhat frequently it can become rather annoying.

Well, you press enough keys at once and at least one or more of the keys you pressed didn't register.

I play FPS games, and hitting the limit of my previous keyboard (about 4 keys at once) happened enough for me to want to consider another keyboard.

Currently I'm using a Corsair K60, which not only is nice in terms of pressing simultaneous keys at once but also very nice when it comes to having to clean the keyboard from dirt.

The keyboard looks cool, bit pricey though :/
I've had a logitech mouse like that except mine was black and silver and wireless, but it was nowhere near as expensive as that.
Don't waste your money on such expensive hardware, try to find it cheaper or look for a cheaper model.
That's just my opinion.

Key macros. Very important and useful for some of my gaming.
I don't really have this problem though, my simple keyboard works just fine.

You can actually test how useful your keyboard is by holding both shift keys and typing out the alphabet.
Keyboard with limitations will not submit all letters.

I bought a Pixxo keyboard + mouse combo for cheap, only to realize that the keyboard used a laptop-style layout (it had an Fn key) and did not include the backslash key (large carriage return). Then I went to a thrift store and bought an acer keyboard that has served me very well for $2. So for me, this just looks like overpriced hardware that's more for making you feel good than it is for actually being functional, but I'm definitely biased, as you can tell from my little anecdote. If you think it's worth it, go for it.

P.S: The aforementioned Pixxo is the mouse that I believe may be becoming self-aware.
