[...] an adult entertainment site, has said it would donate 1 cent for every 30 views of selected videos on its site during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, according to NBC.
So viewing videos from the "big tits" and "small tits" categories counts!
However...
"We are not a partner, not accepting donations, and have asked them to stop using our name," NBC quoted the foundation as saying.

Wow?

But yet governments have no problem being bribed or accepting money from the Tobacco industry, but a Breast Cancer research group denies it from a porn site? I mean, I guess 1 cent is kind of low, but depending on the traffic it gets, it could build up. But still man, that is sad.

I can see why whatever foundation might be upset, but it's stupid to reject money if it can really help, unless whoever it is doesn't accept donations. I suppose the site could amend the terms of their deal simply to say that the money would be donated, perhaps anonymously, to a foundation of their choice, without naming names.

Wait a sec, I just read the article. I'm not saying the site name (read the article) BUT COME ON! That site gets soooo much traffic! Why would you deny them? They're a really big site, famous and hook up with lots of partners and other big porn business. That just blew my mind, that is pathetic. That 1 cent per video would easily rake in at least 100,000 bucks.

Just cause people own porn sites it doesn't make them a bad person, I say they should accept any donation since it is going for a good purpose, is it not hurting more for then not to accept it?

That's just lousy of the charity, actually.
They're too good for donations from a legitimate source? This isn't drugs or cockfighting.
They wouldn't even be partners with the porn site, they wouldn't have to even say on their site "Thanks to the porn site for this lump sum!", right?

I mean I doubt the porn site wants to highlighted on the charity site I think they would likely understand that they don't get exposure for their good deed.
It's different if they DO want the publicity though, some things admittedly should be treated a bit more privately.

The porno industry seems to have the largest appreciation for tits, so I don't see why this would be such an issue for a charity group. Just because there are people out there (and plenty of them) who enjoy adult films doesn't mean that the business is in the wrong for trying to support a charity. Whether you agree with the existence of the adult entertainment industry or not, the fact is that it's here to stay and it's one of the most profitable businesses in the world these days and i don't see why they should be excluded from making charity donations.

If it cures fatal ailments, then money's money as far as I'm concerned. Hell, if my partner developed breast cancer and I needed money to save her life, I'd do whatever it took to raise that money. I'd star in a porno where I get gang-banged by gorillas like an X-rated Donkey Kong Country spin-off, I don't give a smeg. Pride can't buy back a lost life.
