Okay im not sure whats going on.

The internet works perfect on laptop, 3ds, dsi, but it goes on and off on my iPod.

It was working then I changed the network config from public to home in the network settings. It stopped working, then I switched it back to public and it started working again??
Now it only works when i switch them on and off, from public to home to public. (in windows 7 network center)

I dont see how this can affect the wifi, but why can my dsi, 3ds and laptop still connect but iPod cant? When i enter the password on my iPod it just says cannot connect to network...

I had that problem once, what I did was
-reset/clear neteork settings
-reset/restore router settings to default
I believe it may have to do with dhcp, for example my old school limited the ip addresses available so one couldnt connect

Yuppers, after restarting your router and IF it did not work, I suggest making sure your WEP/WPA Connections are open. If they are, you should backup your iPod it and do a factory reset.
