Are these the low res versions of the games? If not I'll pass.

You say this as if there could have been hi-res remakes. These games are presented in their native resolutions (except the GB games, which are blown up to scale to be on the TV screen). They look just fine, as these games were always amazing looking (on their respective systems). Methinks a contemplation of the line in my signature is in order for those looking for hi-res versions of old school Kirby games. ^_^

Also, the challenge stages are presented with the same graphical quality as Return to Dreamland.

Awesome - I've been looking forward to this. It's kind of sad though that this will be the last game made by Nintendo that we will see on the wii. It's been a great 6 years - and I'll be looking forward to good things on the wii u.

I bought it and can confirm that it IS indeed awesome!

Can you also confirm if there are any instructions on backing out of the classic games without using the Home menu's Reset button? Inquiring minds want to know!

Just in case it doesn't freeze like the Japanese version if you press home and reset.
It goes back to the Dream Collection menu.
I wonder why did Nintendo changed a lot of extras from the Japanese version?
They should've left the manga and other stuff.

Man it would be awful if Nintendo HD'd these. Takes away the charm and leaves them souless.
Acctually these are presented in a higer res, namely: 640x480.( technically high res )
Original resolutions are 240p.
Nintendo also managed to do this with the mario anniversary edition, wich was a let down to be honest.
This means there will be no scanlines on a crt tv, in other words these games look crap on LCD and CRT tv's.
Better of using emulators wich support the games native resolutions instead of resulting in the Wii's native output signal.

So yes I'll pass.
