So TGS has brought us a few new game announcements for the Vita. Nothing particularly exciting but some people may find it interesting.
  • Valhalla Knights 3 is set for 2013 on the Playstation Vita. Unsurprising seeing as the first two games were on the PSP, although the first two games were mediocre at best.
  • Oboromuramasa (aka Muramasa: The Demon Blade) is set for the Vita in 2013. It's a port of the Wii game Muramasa: The Demon Blade with some visual upgrades and Vita-exclusive features.
  • Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus is yet another game in the disgustingly fanservice-based Senran Kagura franchise which is somehow a "franchise" now after literally two 3DS releases within like a goddamn year.
  • Already discussed in another thread is God Eater 2.
  • In other news, Keiji Inafune's Soul Sacrifice is also delayed.
  • EDIT: Also announced was Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus. Much like the first game, it's a port of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 with additional content/features.
  • Red and blue colors also coming to the Vita outside of its standard black color and the Assassin's Creed bundle white color.
  • Playstation Plus is also coming to the system in November. Current PS+ subscribers don't have to pay any more for both PS3 and Vita features. It comes with the PS3's suite of features such as a changing free games list and discounts in the store as well as 1GB free cloud storage for Vita saves, an "automatic update" feature which schedules the Vita to turn on at a certain time and automatically download game demos and software updates, and automatic trophy sync.
If it wasn't already obvious this stuff is currently only announced for Japan, nothing yet for the rest of the world.

So two three ports, some shitty fanservice game and Valhalla Knights 3.

Yeah, the Vita is doomed.

Dunno about a PS2 port.

Herp my bad, I was thinking of another game.

Ohhh k
I thought there was a PS2 port so I wanted to download it lol
Check out Odin Sphere. It's basically equal to Muramasa minus a few elements. Made by the same group (vanillaware).

Oh, and when soulx ever states that he doesn't bait people, I hope we will remember this thread.

On topic, Muramasa would look perfect on a HD screen. It's already a beautiful game on the Wii.

Agree Murasama looks beautiful but I think it won't get the audience.

And I tried Odin Sphere.
Its ehhhh ok.

In all honesty I didn't like Muramasa at all. It looked nice but gameplay felt very boring and it got pretty dull at times. They dedicated long stretches of areas to absolutely nothing so I guess you could go "LOOK AT DEM GRAPHICS" but I'd rather see those graphics when the game is interesting.

However it'll look pretty good on the Vita with dat OLED.

I would love to play Valhalla Knights 3. I played the hell out of 1 and 2. The first game that got me interested on the Vita. But still not getting one.

I kinda chuckled at that whole comment you posted, it was just so expected you'd say that.

Anyway, Senran Kagura becoming a franchise is not so surprising seeing it has 2 games already as well as 2 manga and a slow moving figure line (Yomi figure when? it was shown last year but never announced for sale yet).

I just wonder which genre will it be, will Kakaki stick with a beat em up format or go into the fighting game realm either way it is the obvious game that's on the top of my list.

Odin Sphere?

I think I was confusing it with Sakura Wars for some reason. There's a few PS2-to-Wii ports out there.
