Really? I figured they just update one day a year to keep up pointless hopes for a emulator that probably isnt going to get much better than it currently is. From what the post looks like it just sounds like emukidd stating they havent worked on it really at all in the whole year of waiting. I give it another 6 months until they actually talk about releasing something.

Not64 is an experiment by one single coder, and yet, it manages to get many games, that had issues, working quite decently. I can't wait to see what these fellows have been doing/planning over two years, but even if they take another two, it's going to be awesome.

I love how the post says

I personally recommend it if you’re looking for something newer than Wii64 1.1 to hold you over until the next official release.

Yet it took them so damn long to even make this update on eulatemii ...yeeaaaaaa, I think I'll continue to use Not64 until I see something substantial.

This, right here. By then it'll all be WiiU talk. I'll still be using my wii, but i know most people would have moved on and lost interest with the Wii scene.

Or not ...maybe they will hack the wii mode in the wiiU first (since the security for the wiiU itself may be strong) keeping the wii interest
..a proper wiiU hack may take a pretty long time I guess

not64 plays the 1st one perfectly

you contradict yourself, in the 'Not64 update' thread you said....

got through kazooie ok it slows down a tiny bit in a few levels but nothing to really hinder you. the white textures are kinda annoying though lucky i know all the puzzles and where all the pads are :P

clearly your idea of 'perfect' and mine are somewhat different.....

it still plays perfectly meaning it's perfectly playable from start to finish unlike fucking tooie can't even get to the 1st level it's unbearably slow...

There's a huge difference between saying "this emulator plays this game perfectly" and "the game is perfectly playable on this emulator." The former insinuates perfect compatibility with no slowdowns or graphical glitches. The latter insinuates that, regardless of how perfect the emulation is, it's good enough to be playable from start to finish without major issues.
