omg...really....an rpg style 3D game doesnt really matter with the rpg style pokemon games....it wont work, cuz its pointless, if anything everybody would not use 3D for the game, but keep it 2D and enjoy the graphics...this game is legitly, AWESOME....dont hate man....DONT hate. -.-

There was only one reason for the creation of pokedéx 3D,
use those models on the next RPG pokémon.
This is a necessary step, and Nintendo already know that.

But if Nintendo focused only on the RPG pokémon,
instead of doing shitty games with the franchise,
we could probably receive the game a lot earlier.

Different studios do different Pokemon games, e.g. the Mystery Dungeon games are by Chunsoft, so it would have virtually no impact if you were to take those side games away (other than pissing off people like me that prefer this series to the main Pokemon games by a large margin).

Like insta-death, monster rooms, lose everything in one fell swoop kinda punishing? Shiren the Wanderer PMD would rock ass so hard. I think. (Don't visualize)

Unfortunately, this is Pokemon, so... insta-deaths and semi-perma deaths would be nice. force players into being paranoid maniacs, har har.

Yeah, something like that, but I cant see that happening. If they did have some sort of permadeath or just punished recklessness more severely then I'd be more into it, but that's not the sort of thing other people may want.

Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup: Pokemon would be cool, but I'd probably be the only one playing it. ^^;

For those of you in the US, Nintendo has just revealed the next game. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity is due for release in North America on March 24th 2013. This game, known in Japan as Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Mangagate & The Infinity Labyrinth has been on sale in Japan for the last month and features the first full 3D Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game. It also confirms that the method to unlock dungeons via the 3DS's camera is remaining called the Magnagate.
