Wii-U. Deluxe sold out at Gamestop, Walmart, Target, more.

Check walmart.com for walmarts, they are entirely sold out.
Also, call any Gamestop, they'll all tell you that the Basic set is entirely out of stock as well.

No news source for this, findings from myself (Why did my paycheck have to be late ). Visit the websites or call them if you don't believe me.
As it stands 9/17/12:

Gamestop: Deluxe Basic
Walmart: Deluxe Basic
Target: Deluxe Basic
Best Buy: Deluxe Basic
Sears: Deluxe Basic

I don't think is really news. The other thread already mentioned the stores it was sold out at.


But it does seem to be selling a lot. Hope it continues after launch (in the Western regions since sales in Japan are guaranteed with the trinity of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Dragon Quest 10 and Bayonetta 2).

Considering stores likely get a bigger cut of the money when you buy the Deluxe version, why would they try to sell more of the Basic version?

Well yeah ur right.
But i am 100 % sure that Gamestop forces to buy the Basic Edition just to get shit from they storages.

Don`t know about these whole sold-out-stories... I remember there were news about Wii, which was said to be sold out in Europe as well at that time and I simply went to a local gameshop a day before launch and got one!

So, don`t know about all this but I still won`t preorder.

Personally I don't care about preorder sellouts - I'm not looking to get one at launch.

When any of these titles come out, I'll take in some consideration :

No more Heroes 3
Beyond Good and Evil 2
Burnout WiiU (whatever it will be called, if it comes that is)

Maybe some others; those were on the top of the list in my head though.

Or if it gets hacked. (I can't say no to homebrew on a console like the WiiU)

There are tons of different Gamestop stores. Not every store would have run out. But most stores already have apparently.
