From Gameinformer:
New Super Mario Bros. U

GI said:
- dozens of levels across one world map, like Super Mario World
- map can be panned around and explored at any time
- game features an auto-scrolling, Boost Rush mode for more of a challenge
- multiple branching paths that let you pick which way to go
- this is much more than the tradition level choosing, which usually gives you only two paths to choose from
- mid-world fortresses guarded by Boom-Boom
- end-level castles guarded by Koopalings

GI said:
Game Informer spotted 7 worlds: Acorn Plains, Sparkling Waters (tropical), Frosted Glacier, Layer Cake Desert (complete with melting desserts), areas similar to Forest of Illusion and Sky World and a world surround by a tornado

About Metroid Blast

GI said:
Metroid Blast up to 5 players. Wii Game Pad is Samus ship (might feature other types of machines), and 4 players can play in free-for-all or team deathmatch. Pointer and analog controls supported. Several maps! Classic Metroid music. You will smile.

- ride a small train to and from attractions
- spend coins in the hub that you've earned by playing attractions
- winning pachinko games populates the park with Nintendo memorabilia
- this includes Miis in Zelda costumes
- Metroid Blast has everyone dress up in Samus' armor
- one player flies Samus' ship using the GamePad and screen
- 4 Wii MotionPlus players (plus Nunchuk) try to shoot down the ship
- no radar available
- includes a lava-filled Norfair map
- this map features a mechanical Kraid that players can grapple up
- Metroid Blaster requires Wii MotionPlus

About Balloon Fight

GI said:
Similar to Balloon Fight
Players guide floating Miss through side-scrolling levels filled with obstacles like electric spikes, crazy birds, and hungry fish.
Use stylus to draw gusts of wind to direct the Mii
Goal is to fly as far as you can.
TV shows complete view of the field, GamePad shows zoomed in for precise dodging.
Nintendo hopes the game breeds competition through Miiverse

No way Nintendoland is going to be a pack in game, there's too much effort and content put into it.

Well, the game would be a hit either way.

It would be ballin' if it was a pack-in, and will still be 10x worth it if it wasn't.

Nintendo Land looks kinda like shit. I don't expect it to be a pack in but I don't expect it to be good.

NSMBU looks like.. every other NSMB game. I think Rayman Legends will take the 2D platformer cake.

So... much... wrong.

I also find it ironic how people say NSMBU looks the same, and that Rayman Legends is the better title.

Wow.

Wow.

Because Rayman Origins was one of the best 2D platformers ever made?

And so was NSMBW. And yet that somehow stops NSMBU from being better than Rayman Legends.

Inb4 "NSMBW is just NSMBDS on Wii".

Not to mention every complaint you could throw at NSMBU can easily be thrown at Rayman Legends.

NSMBW felt kinda eh. I didn't nearly have any of the charm, flair, or general perfection that Origins had.

I'm just kinda sick of NSMB games, I really don't want them any more. I kinda want more from my games than just NSMB platformer levels. They just don't impress me unlike Rayman Origins did. Aside from it's fantastic level design and masterful difficulty curve, it had so much charm to it with its music and graphics.

Also if you (not direct at you Donny, just read the other reply) think Rayman looks like a Flash game then you clearly don't know how animation works.

I have no idea how animation works. Good call.

And yet it has level design that wasn't trial and error. Which is a problem with Rayman Origins, you could get them right, but after 400 times of trying.

And your comment about how NSMBU "looks the same" is plain wrong, too.

I'm still not convinced that this:

Looks like this:

The only levels of Rayman that were really trial and error were the Tricky Chest ones. The rest were completable by skill.

Also, how do those NOT look the same. One looks a little rounder, welcome to the world of actual graphical power. But they still look very identical.

There's alot of more trial and error levels.

And no, they do not look the same. NSMBU has the better artstyle, lighting, particle effects, shading, increased resolution, I don't know what your definition of "same" is, but its obviously drastically different then mine.

There's a few trial and error levels but even then, it comes down to skill. Plus there's plenty of games that are trial and error. Take Megaman for instance. People still love it.

Also, the game has obvious graphical improvements, but that comes inherent with better hardware. But the caves look the same, the creatures look the same, the players look the same. They don't know how to make the games look interesting.

But the caves look the same

No, it doesn't. The background's different, the actual foreground is different, even the lighting's different (the NSMBU cave actually looks like its in a CAVE).

The same in DESIGN? Yeah, they look the same, what the heck do you want them to look like, this?

And even then, the resolution and detail's even better. Mario in the NSMBW screenshot's a pixelated mess. The Mario and Piranha Plants in the NSMBU screenshot looks like the their handrawn artwork:
