Ideas for saving the EOF

So the EOF has basically been shit since NeoSupaMario joined for a while now and members rarely post here anyone due to due the lack of humor in many of the threads. We must generate some ideas that we as a community can implement that will bring back the EOF to its former glory. We mustn't let such a critical component to GBATemp's community be overtaken by prowler haters, bronies, fanboys, AlanJohn, weeboos, lame petitions to ban or unban specific members, etc.

I already came up with the solution in another thread. We nuke close the EoF for a little while and all the people who use the EoF as their own shit dumping grounds will be forced to learn to use the other areas of the forum. They will either assimilate and become normal members, or they will shit on the rest of the forum and be banned faster then a spambot posting rom links.

I never stated that was its reason for being created. As you say, the Edge of the Forum was originally created as a cess pool to confine the content too shitty for themajority of the forum. Later, as the community grew, the focus shifted to providing more humorous content instead of this board being akin to /b/ on 4chan.

Well thats wrong.
