I know that Gundam is quite popular over in the west, so i was just wondering if anyone was planning on translating the newly released game/s: Mobile Suit Gundam Age: Cosmic Drive and/or Mobile Suit Gundam Age: Universe Accel.

Any response is appreciated and word on a translation project would be even better!​

Yeah, the customization feature is one of the reasons I want to know if the game is being translated or not.

It would be great if they decide to translate the game!
I know how hard working they are and it seems that an RPG like this is their specialty.

We really just need a menu and item translation
I got into adult flits story with virtually no know knowledge of reading jap
But the game gets really hard

well if someone wants to do a translation i will point some of the file extention the has

firts the game its paked on .CPK there are tools to open it and repacking it no problem here

now i just got more deeper and every file its on a .bin file but i think that its just a cover but i dont see to get any text files

I was wanting to a translation because its the engine as the danbal senki game but its not on the way so its a no for me because im not a programmer

You would be a great help. I am quite jealous that you live in Tokyo .

We may have a program in development soon to extract the text but only if the person who has kindly said that he/she will have a go at programming it has time. MAYBE.

But i don't think i am going to translate the game because it's so easy to play.

If you Open the Game with UMDGEN
You will find 3 CPK files these 3 files contain all the text BUT
2 of them are the ones :/
CPK3 contains only a movie
CPK1 Battle desc Age System Mobile Suit and Pilot Data
CPK2 Has all the movies

Yeah, I was going to say that about the anime but the main reason to have this translated was so that the many new story's that were not in the anime could be read by English speakers (e.g Flit as a young adult). Also, translating the age system and mobile suit info is a must if you want to understand the customizing which is needed to complete the game.

it seems the autors name is crashmanX he was doing a translation of another gundam game quite sometime maybe we could get him to post some info of the translation hes doing right now
and see if he wants a little help on the translation

it depens on the encryption of the game and nothing can compare with type 0 its a lot of pain to do just translate one thing
and as you can see theres someone translating this game

for the record type 0 translation was left because there was going to be a official release on but it was kind of a lie or its been happening underground

Wow, he is one fast worker. I saw his and your posts and he must really love his Gundam. Just like me! When he gets to the story translation, maybe we should ask him if he would need some help from us Gbatempers.
