Hardware Power supply brick

Just picked up a used non hdmi, 2006 manufacture date console (only console). Is there a way to tell which power supply goes with certain consoles? 150, 175, 203 watt ?

I'd say 203w. As it's universal and works for all systems. As well as the fact that's an older console. The newer the console the lower the voltage. IIRC.

You've picked up a Xenon console (or EXTREMELY lucky an Opus but I doubt that)

The newer boards draw less power ;p
Less Amperes means a reduced amount of Watts.

So the 203w is backwards compatable

Right Actually forward compatible.

Yes.

175w 150w and both slims can accept 203w powerbricks.
Slims need a adapter for it but it works.
