Should I get it?

Well, let me start by saying I have actually owned RR3D before as a launch title for my US 3DS. I personally liked that game, just that the framerate is quite inferior compared to current releases. (30FPS) The tracks are also quite repetitive, but the soundtrack is amazing.

Now that I got a LL, I want to get some nice games. There is one guy who wants to sell the Japanese Ridge Racer 3D at S$30 (US$24), it's a used copy.

Do you think I should go for it? I can certainly buy this title new at $59.90 (US$48), but this IS a title I owned before.
Maybe I can save up for Animal Crossing too. :P

I think you should pass. The reason is simple: if you really love that game, it is already a "classic" in your mind, so, if you give a time without playing it, you will get in future a great enjoyment (besides better prices).

(and US$24 is not THAT good)

If you've played it like you said you have then why on earth would you re-purchase it?
I didn't complete the WHOLE game (I traded it for DOA), but since I played it before I was wondering if it would be wise to buy it again.

A japanese version?
But isn't the 3DS region locked? Or you have a JP 3DS?

I myself don't have a 3DS (yet) so I don't really know...
My 3DS LL is a Japanese region set.

And yes, the 3DS is region locked. Fuck that.

Well, Japanese games are much more expensive than the West. US$24 is just an okay price for a used launch game.

If I were to get it I'll definitely do some bargaining, but chances are slim.

Heck I just love the music in this game, but that doesn't really justify my purchase.

Id rather pick up NFS: The Run, it has online multiplayer too
I heard that that game has quite large negativity.

U can find that shit new for $20 or less. I still wouldn't buy it at that price. They need to make a burnout for 3ds. The crashes in 3d would be awesome!
*edit* 3 ppl so far voted for you to buy it. Fuckin trolls! Lol
