I recall SMT 4's trailer being included in Soul Hackers. I'm guessing the screenshots were from there.
Aside from that, it's third person; hell yeah.
Wonder if we'd finally get a game on par with Nocturne.Either way, I'm excited for this.

Holy shit, is it gonna be anywhere near SMT Imagine? I mean, third person character, summoning Demons means they're out with you, and basically real-time DPS based combat?

I just shat on my pants. Hold on, let me get some more pants to shit on.

EDIT: @[member='YamiHoshi.nl'], you've got a pixel-perfect screen capture 3DS, you're in the PERFECT position to get this trailer up! Please tell me you have this game (Soul Hackers 3DS)!

EDIT2: How do you tag people here? I know you can, I've seen it. Somebody tag YamiHoshi please.

I like how we still call this type of content "leaks," as if the publishers don't want this media out in the wild. Ha, ha!

Anyway, looks better than expected, from the very small amount we can see there...

Have you played the Devil Summoner games? Those are real time and (a) demon walks around with you. Pretty cool, but NOT for a main title such as SMT IV.

Actually, no. Unless you count Imagine, which is an MMO. I admit, I much prefer the old school SMTs, which is why I loved Strange Journey so much. But hey, we'll see what happens with this one, eh? Maybe it's just the natural thing to do next, instead of limiting yourself with gridbased movements when the device can totally do real-time romping.

It's probably going to be a third person, but turn-based like SMT III was. I mean, so far the main line of games (1, 2, 3, and Strange Journey) have all been turn based RPG, while the side games change things up and try new things. It would seem strange to change it now, and would probably throw a rage tornado through the internet.

I recommend Devil Summoner Raidou 1 for the PS2, it's pretty cool. Square to slash, Triangle to shoot. A SMT Action-RPG game. Still limited as when you run into an enemy you go to a battle screen instead of just right there on the map.
I still need to check out Imagine!

SMT Imagine is an MMO, free to play, I think, with microtrans to keep it profitable. As with MMOs, combat is more like WoW, in that you activate skills but it won't work unless you move in range (mouse or WSAD). Demons follow you like combat pets, with various AI settings, but you can also directly access their skill sets in combat, so you can double-team an enemy. It's a fun MMO if you're into SMT games.

Plus, it's also awesome walking around, then you see and recognize high level demons, and some are really huge too.

Ok this is cool and all but when will this be localized and released so I can go buy a 3DS.
So far, all we know is that it's going to be released in 2013 in Japan. There isn't anything more specific, and I haven't heard of the game being localised anywhere, so you'd probably want to wait longer than that.
