For all you hardcore Rockman/MegaMan fans out there, Capcom is releasing a Soundtrack featuring all of the songs from MegaMan 1-10. They will also be releasing two CD albums featuring arranged MegaMan songs in the Techno and Rock genres respectively. See the source for more info.

The Rock Arrange album is awesome. I don't care too much for the Techno one. The Rock one is definitely worth a listen.

there are already a few fan collections that already achieve what capcom has yet to do.

As soon as they release it. I'll be downloading it in flac.

scene release vbr mp3s sound just as good on my surround stereo, mp3 player, bose speakers, etc, and i'll save about 300% of the file size. if i wanted a "1:1" experience i wouldn't pirate the cd collection, i'd actually support someone as wonderful as capcom for bringing me such great gaming memories.

In all seriousness, I'd love to have this for Mega Man 8's soundtrack alone. I loved it. Eargasms everywhere

Now that's a bit more respectful for his 25th anniversary than that Rockman X Over crap they're releasing for iOS.

I'm interested in getting it, absolutely.
Fun fact, e-tanks weren't present in Megaman 1 or 8, or in Megaman & Bass which is technically 8.5 due to its internal Rom name.

Speaking of awesome Rockman music, have you guys listened to Chiptuned Rockman?
I downloaded it expecting it to be a fanmade compilation, and to my surprise it was both excellent, and actually a Capcom product, so I imported it from Play-asia way back.

RupeeClock, suprised you didn't go for how most Mega Man characters names are music inspired (Rock, Roll, Bass, Tremble, Rush) and even all (if not most) the robot masters in Megaman X3 are named after members of Guns n Roses

 ...and they made a f***ing cool e-tank box. The artwork on covers are great too. I'm not a hardcore fan, but these images are shinning on my eyes!!!

I don't really feel the need to state the obvious with Rock, Roll, Blues, Bass, Treble, Rush, Beat, Tango, Kalinka.
Didn't know about the X3 thing though, I'm not that well acquainted with the X series.

The point about the E-tank was because the CDs are kept in an E-tank after all.
Actually now that I think about it, Tenguman's stage had different music in the Sega Saturn version of Megaman 8, which is considered to be the superior version to the Playstation version.

The Saturn version has a number of extras including 2 extra boss battles. Although the psx version was used during Megaman Anniversery Collection

I would buy one collection lf I could.
Here in Brazil my chances of finding a collection like this are slim to none.

If I can download in flac, why wouldn't I.
Size isn't a problem for me, and I appreciate the extra quality of flac compared to mp3
