So i've been using wiiflow to run a couple backup games with no problems
However i have 2 questions

1: Will installing games from wiiflow kill my laser?

And 2: When making channels for wiiflow all channels forward me to the same game no matter what the channel looks like. Any clues on how to fix it?

As far as I know it doesn't hurt your laser anymore then just playing the game regularly, in fact having the games installed helps preserve the laser because it's no longer needed to run the games.

Some people use backups for that exact reason.

Thats what i was thinking but at the same time i thought it would be more stress since its copying files and stuff

I would think that while it is copying the game over, that it puts a little bit more stress than just playing the game due to the continuous read. That said however I believe the benefits outweigh the possible wear.

In the end if you do not play games off the drive all you are doing is reading the disk one time, if you just played your games from the DVD drive they would be read many times.

The other thing you may hear is that playing recorded CD's or DVD's can damage a drives laser, after many years of using a LOT of burned media I can honestly say I have never had a system or laser die on me. Just my two cents on that subject.

I am not really a pro in making ISO forwarders for wiiflow..but i know you need to provide more information on this for other people to answer this correctly.
What they probably would like to know is:

What tool are you using to create the forwarders?
What cIOS ar you using?
Which revision of Wiiflow are you using?
Did it work before and with what setup (see questions above)?

Without that info it will be next to impossible to give an answer.
