Sometimes the shoutbox can seem a little cluttered and full of what appears to be a useless stream of feces. So, how do you scrub this stream of feces off the wall? Well, here's a helpful guide to help!

Step #1: Identify the Problem

First things first, to start the clean up, you need to run a diagnostic as to what is making the shoutbox cluttered.

Seriously, what the fuck is this shit?

It appears you have some shit running in the background that's filling the shoutbox with a stream of fecal matter. If you completed this step, move on to step #2.

Step #2: Quarantine

Like any producer of fecal streams, you need to isolate it and make sure you never see that shit again.

Luckily, GBAtemp has a built in tool to do this. Click your name in the upper right hand corner and choose "Manage Ignore Prefs". Once there, enter the following in the box:

Make sure to hit "Save Changes" when you are done. Now, it's time to move on.

Step #3: A New Day

Now that your preferences are saved, go back to the Shoutbox.

Peace and quiet...

Your shoutbox should be clean now! If you find any more bugs that are streaming fecal matter into the shoutbox, make sure to leave a note here!

With all this ignoring gbtatemp will soon become a battlefield, where each factions silences the other, give the term sub-fourm an new definition.

In my opinion the ignore setting isn't strong enough, if I don't like someone enough to ignore them, then I don't even want to know they exist at all.

I like electronics that use detachable cables, that way if the cable breaks you can just swap in a new one instead of replacing the whole unit

the L hdmi cables work great on my tv and receiver. so much less stress on the ports using them than regular cables. in that instance anyway.
