Gaming where would the ds save be located on the 3ds...

i did a forum search and could not find this question or answer to my question so i will get to the point.i am trying to find my ds save data of Phantasy Star Zero on my 3ds and i can not find it nor do i have any idea where to look.if anyone can help me with this question i will be most greatful and it would help alot.thank you.

All DS game saves are located on the cartridge, not the 3DS.

EDIT: There are various homebrew apps that allow you to extract them, but you'd need to use a DS/DS Lite for them I think. There are also various dongles that do this as well such as the R4i Save Dongle.

except the fact that they changed the save encryption so you can't extract the save files from newer games.

As the above posts said, they're on the cartridge.
The only reason the psp's save files are on the MS is because it uses UMD's.
You can extract and rewrite the files using rudolph's nds backup manager (with a dslite and a flashcart) or an r4i savedongle and the like.
