Source: Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vortexx

Notice that the WWE show will be TV-PG, a first for any Saturday morning kids block. Also, in regards to the WWE show, here is a quote from Belacher Report.com ( http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...urday-morning-slam-kids-show-after-summerslam )

" WWE is about to add another 30 minutes to their already packed weekly set of shows, but this show will not be all about in-ring action like Raw and SmackDown.

WWE Saturday Morning Slam will debut on the CW network in two weeks, according to an article published by the LA Times.

The show will feature one match as well as backstage segments and messages from the BA Star anti-bullying campaign, along with other various features to be added in the weeks to come.

According to the article referenced earlier, WWE's viewing audience is 22 percent children, mainly boys under the age of 12.

This will be a part of a new block of shows the CW is putting on Saturday's schedule and WWE Saturday Morning Slam will be the anchor.

Whether the match will be one from Raw or SmackDown or a match taped exclusively for the show is unclear at this point."

If you are curious about the schedule, read below...

It's all well and good, but why WWE?
It's not a Cartoon (well it is just as real as one) and who honestly still watches wresting?

Also, Justice League Unlimited!!!!!!! :toot:
If they replace WWE with something like Batman The Animated series, this would be a pretty nice line up.

I still watch wrestling and there are plenty of people who do. Besides, the WWE has gone extremely family friendly and "social" since 2008. A kiddy WWE show to match the WWE Kids magazine makes a lot of sense from a business POV.

Still doesn't explain why it's on a cartoon block.
It would be better after the cartoons.

I do agree that WWE should be on after the "cartoons" within the block. Disney, when they had Power Rangers, would stick the show at the 12p-1p hour of their Saturday block. I as hoping for a Rangers/WWE hour at the end of the block but either way, it's all good. Besides, we'e just starting out. A lot can happen between now and February of next year. Also, I don't like that Zexal has two spots on the block. Much rather see repeats of Digimon seasons 1-3

@[member='GameWinner'], yes 4Kids kicked the bucket this year. Saban Brands purchased what as left and is taking over the Saturday morning block on CW

Alright, what would make this lineup better is getting Digimon season 1-4 back on air.
I mean they had they rights a while back and kids today need to watch this, I mean there isn't much on today...

Ew, Dragon Ball Z Kai. Although Kai cuts out a lot of the filler that's present throughout the original, I'd much rather they show people the original, digitally remastered series due to people being able to get more out of the story. I recently rewatched all 291 episodes of DBZ, and watching the other results (I managed to catch all 291 on youtube before the account was deleted), I saw that Kai really rushed the story (for example, by the time Goku went SSJ in the original, on the same episode number in Kai, the Android saga was well underway). I've watched a few episodes, and I know they cut a lot out too. It just isn't the same.

WWE? Bleh.

Why so much Yu-Gi-Oh?

This lineup is pretty crap, really. Kids get the short end of the stick these days when it comes to their cartoons.

I really wish Saban had access to DBZ episodes with Bruce Faulconer's music. I have all of DBZ remastered but without Faulconer's music (wish I could find the previous stated). As for people hating on WWE, just deal with it. People like wrestling. No need to be like those pretensions people who think they are better than others, just because they dont do something when it all boils down to a matter of opinion. Seriously, not liking professional wrestling does not make you better than someone who does.

This is sorely missing Sonic X. However, I am glad they're finally dubbing Zexal.

Finally? Zexal has been on CW for some time now. To my knowledge a least since or a bit before May. I remember waking up one morning to it and going "WTF?". I want Digimon back or at least another showing of "Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight".

Shows you how long it's been since I've woken up early enough to watch CW.

Lost Galaxy? That was the bomb back in the day.

Work the Power Rangers into the WWE program and the CW would have a cash machine on their hands.

CW already has a cash cow. Power Ranger figures are the number 2 toy on the planet with Barbie leading as #1. And yes, LOST Galaxy was fucking awesome! The ONLY Ranger series in which the sixth member (Magna Defender is technically not a "Ranger") and Pink Ranger dies.
