hi could any body tell me if there are have same problems with starwars lego iii on there 3ds xl only and pirates of the Caribbean lego game both do run but corrupted image on the xl but run fine on my 3ds thanks

Sounds like the cart may be damaged. If that is the only one not working try using a can of air and stray a very little amount into the cartridge
Weird, when I have my 3DS XL back I'll ask my manager if I can test one of these games.

That's weird! I got home today and re-tried Star Wars Lego and Pirates of the Caribbean Lego and they now both run fine on my 3D XL unlike yesterday. Yesterday I only had a black screen with sound and then corrupted images with gameplay, however when I tried them on my 3DS they run fine yesterday. I will keep an eye on this to see if it a fault with my new 3DS XL or it is a sotfware problem. For now it's working on my 3DS XL. For your information I did try re-set at lest 10 TIMES and I also removed the game cards at lest 10 TIMES and they would not work! However all of my other games worked without fault on my 3DS XL only the two games stated above DID NOT WORK!!!

As for why the games didn't work at first, perhaps some dirt got on the contacts. It's happened to me before, and fixed itself. This is why I keep my games in cases when not in the system itself.

No actually, fun fact: some of our more popular members are actually extremely sarcastic assholes. I simply stated that you gave me the impression that you removed the card without exiting. And now I definitely think your 12 seeing how butthurt you are.
And I wasn't being sarcastic. That fact you would think I was makes me.question if you know what it is.
Oh and despite your butthurt I think your problem is a issue with the contacts seeing how after an extensive googling I couldn't find anyone else with the problem. Just blow on it a couple time or blow in the slot.
