I see that the team made a good job creating this for a homebrew app for the wii, but i must agree, its so hard to social network on a console! Even if you can connect a keyboard..

About damn time! THIS is how we keep the Wii alive, with apps. All this needs is a way to receive messages via WiiConnect24 and the message board and we're golden!

....I've been coding a Twitter client(I'm an addict) for the Nintendo Wii for the past year(Only now working on the making the oAuth stuff). I didn't know this existed. I guess I can slow down / halt all development...

You could always work on a Facebook or real YouTube client with support for subscriptions.

Nah. I wanted to code something that I felt I could do well. I've been a big fan of Twitter clients that are ground breaking.(heck, still working on my iPad one) I don't plan to stop working on mine, just slowing down to other projects

Yeah, don't stop working on your version just because another one exists.
people like having choices, and it would certainly have different GUI/options/feeling.

At least, as long as you don't lost interest :)
If you worked on it a lot, I'm sure you don't like the idea to drop it now.

Well, I got most of the API stuff working last night(this motivated me) all I really need to work on it adding a nice UI and more of the actually needed features(ie: for now you can't fav or retweet). Heck, I didn't even add the Wii keyboard yet. I've been using a USB keyboard. And the UI is just tweets coming in plain text on a black screen. It's far from releasable but it's functional for basic use / testing
