Resident Evil 6: Ada Wong confirmed playable character

Many questions have surrounded the release of Capcom's newest iteration in the Resident Evil series, but right now at least one of those questions has been answered. Everyone's favorite one-handed flipping hottie is back, along with her hook shot and crossbow. And you will be in control of her once more.

So now we can expect to gun down zombies with Ada, Chris Redfield, Leon Kennedy, and newcomer-to-the-story: Jake Miller in both single and cooperative scenes.

Resident Evil 6 will be available on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 just over two months from today on October 2nd, 2012, with a later release for PC gamers.

I just watched a trailer of this on Eurogamer and i must say i like the look of this.

I've played all of the Resident Evil games apart from 5, i have it on Steam but just couldn't get into it, but this game looks like i could get well into this.

Hopefully they will fix the cover mechanic from the demo and not have any locked content. Also being able to pause the game in single player would be nice but then again it was a demo.

They also released HD remake of CV which has the old feel and you can always play the mods for PC versions of Resident Evil. They aren't that great sometimes but some are pretty fun.

that's a intentional feature that is very unlikely to go away.

Yes 'them people' should drop it too, the amount of hate the game recieved from gamers was unjust. IGN gave it a 9, Gamespot an 8.5 and Metacritic has it listed at 84%. Hardly the 'RES 5 WAS SOO BAD' talkAngryGeek is stating.
