Alright, well it's been a minute, time for an update!

Update 07-17-12:
SegaCD - Added a new SegaCD set (164 covers) from thecoverproject.net. Added a preview pic as well.
NES - Aligned all spines, and made the NES Spine logo universal throughout the set, there have also been 11 more covers added. Some slight cleaning to a few baddies.
SNES - Aligned all spines, and made major adjustments to the spines to make them more universal. There have also been 9 new covers added, as well as some alternate (other region) covers. Also some cleaning done to the set.
N64 - Aligned all spines, and made some slight level adjustments to some of the ultra-dull covers. No new additions.
GB, GBC, GBA - Aligned all spines, made spine logo's universal, and added 5 more gameboy classic covers.

I'm having an issue getting
c204.gif
wiiflow to pick up my covers for the roms. I followed the instructions.

In my wiiflow.ini:
dir_box_covers=usb1:/usb-loader/covers/full

In fceugx.ini:

[PLUGIN]
magic=46434555
coverColor=ff0000
coverFolder=fceugx
fileTypes=.nes|.fds|.nsf|.unf|.nez|.unif|.zip|.7z
romDir=fceugx/roms
dolFile=fceugx-mod11.dol
bannerSound=nes.ogg
displayname=FCEUltraGX
ReturnLoader=yes
consoleCoverID=nintendo

The roms are in usb1:/fceugx/roms

The covers are in usb1:/usb-loader/covers/full/fceugx

Example file names for roms and covers:
cover file name: 10-Yard Fight (USA, Europe).zip.png

rom name: 10-Yard Fight (USA, Europe).zip

Did I do something wrong?

I know you have it set in your wiiflow.ini, but maybe try it in your plugin.ini as well?

Try replacing your coverfolder line with coverFolder=usb1:/usb-loader/covers/full/fceugx

Hmm, thanks for the suggestion..

I tried to use the absolute path but it doesnt seem to have changed anything. I am going to try with just 1 rom in the rompath. Perhaps it is a scaling issue?

EDIT: having only 1 rom didnt change anything either. I'm grabbing a dump for FIX94... Lets see what he can see in there.
http://paste.ubuntu.com/1106985/

EDIT: It seems that I needed to remove the roms for the other plugins too. Having only 1 rom in total across all plugins changes things. The cover displays correctly. Must be a scaling issue - though I am curious why wiiflow treats all the plugins as one source.

I have noticed that if you have a looooot of roms and plugins, sometimes it's best to cache one plugin' at a time (having only that particular plugin's .dol and .ini in the "wiiflow/plugins" folder. I just move the rest to a folder called "plugin's unused". Maybe give this a shot? It can be kind of a pain, but once all the cache's are setup, all is good, and you can move them all back into the plugin's folder. This works for me anyways, maybe it'll work for you?

Ya I'll give this a shot. Too bad wiiflow couldn't do something like that itself internally.

Don't know if anybody knows this but I found out that if you place your covers and roms in where they're suppose to go and the covers still dont show, just go to settings and download cover and cancel right away and it loads the covers up just fine. Hopefully this tip will help someone along the line :sleep:

Ok. I tried to download the covers and cancel and dont work for me. Well i put the Nes covers and roms in SDCARD with new wiiflow install and power off the HDD. Well the covers show to me. I will make it for the all of plugin-ins and copy the cache to the HDD and will try again.

That idea may actually work but I never tried it.
Downloading the cancelled covers kinda stopped working for me once I mentioned it and now I'm having the same problem. I found if they don't show up I just start the game and exit out at the title screen and usually when I get back the cover shows up plus the surrounding ones up to 5 will show up as well. But I still try to download them and cancel it first cuz sometimes it works.
Lol, count on me to do things the hard way :D

@mastershoes - In your NES fullcover set the cover labeled for rocketeer is actually the cover for rocket ranger. Also the cover for conan is actually the cover for contra just labeled conan. Thanks for all the hard work on these. It is appreciated. I will be going through the snes sets next. Will let you know if I find any errors.

They go by the ID in the .ini file. See below. In this case, the cover would simply be named "qfg3". No extensions are necessary.

[qfg3]
description=Quest for Glory III: Wages of War (DOS/English)
path=usb:/ScummVMroms/Quest for Glory 3 - The Wages of War (Floppy DOS)
gameid=sci
language=en
platform=pc
guioptions=sndNoSpeech lang_English
