Hacking Just about two weeks and no acekard update for 3ds

I finally ordered an r4i. But, here is what Acekard emailed me this morning (7/10/2012)

"Dear Acekard User,

First of all,sorry for our delay on releasing the update for 3DS 4.2.

We've been working hard on this udpate and it's almost finished now.We'll release it once 100% finishing.
Approximately,this will need some one more week.

Thank you for your support and kind patience.

3DS flashcard fixes are a limited resource so they're generally saved only for major system updates.

i finally got an AK2i and no update. now i'm thinking i should have waited the 3 days for supercard DStwo instead. but hey, i'm pretty confident i didn't waste money on this thing, this is just a slight glitch in the grand scheme of things for me.

I was just trying to get more info. The maturity level of this forum is rediculous. I don't know what I expect. This is a forum.... A place to share ideas and communicate and HELP. At least that's what I thought

Look, when they release an update, which they will, you'll all go back to your holes and quit your bitching. The same types of users come out of the woodwork every time there's a 3DS update.

Bottom line: You're buying a card that never advertised it could be upgraded on the firmware level. That surprised even Normmatt and myself.

The fact that you have to wait a few weeks because you were a moron who upgraded or cuz you got a new toy and want to bootleg your stuff now is not their problem. It will work when it works and has there been one update yet they have not released a patch for?

Oh wait, there hasn't. They have updated their card with each nintendo update thus far.

But please, go on and bitch and moan about how it wasn't fast enough.

the second it's released you'll all just disappear anyway until the next Nintendo update.

I am just going to quote myself

I love how every update DSi/3DS update comes out and the Acekard Team doesn't update, within days people give up hope.

You know people, there are only a handful of exploits that can be used and they are running thin. The Acekard team needs to wait and see if there will be any other updates, like a DSi update or another 3DS update so they can be on top of those as well. They can't just waste an exploit on every little update.
As well the card is just a budget card, you get what you pay for.
Not to mention firmware updates aren't even part of the promoted features, we are just lucky the card can be flashed to update with the DSi/3DS updates.

And coming from someone who has owned a SuperCard DSTwo since it's release, I can say the card not what it's cracked up to be and personally I use my Acekard 2i way more then my Supercard DSTwo.
