Activision has officially announced the sale for all three platforms, starting from today, July 3rd through July 9th. All DLC for Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops will be discounted on PSN, Steam, and Xbox Live.

A portion of the sales will be donated by Activision Publishing, Inc. to the Call of Duty® Endowment, a non-profit organization that provides job placement and training services for veterans.

  • Call of Duty Black Ops with First Strike DLC bundle (PSN only) -- $33.49 (originally $49.99)
  • Black Ops First Strike -- $7.99 or MS600 (originally $14.99 or MS1200)
  • Black Ops Escalation -- $7.99 or MS600 (originally $14.99 or MS1200)
  • Black Ops Annihilation -- $7.99 or MS600 (originally $14.99 or MS1200)
  • Black Ops Rezurrection -- $7.99 or MS600 (originally $14.99 or MS1200)
  • Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection 1 -- $7.99 or MS600 (originally $14.99 or MS1200)
  • Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection 2 -- $7.99 or MS600 (originally $14.99 or MS1200)

Since CoD sales don't happen that often, especially those with profits not going straight into Bobby Kotick's pocket, I thought this was newsworthy. This is also the first time MW3 DLC has ever been on sale, if anyone cares.
Personally, I'm thinking of getting all the non-Zombies Black Ops DLC since it'll only cost $24.

And keep in mind that this thread is not the place to post hateful comments about the game or the people who play it.

God I'm glad I play on PC, where it's so easy to pirate this shit. GREAT games, but way too expensive to my liking.....
Saying that call of duty is a great game is one of the most disappointing things to ever read on the internet

Although I've fallen off of the CoD Protection Wagon, it's still nice to see some of this stuff on sale. I'll be sure to let some of my more die hard friends know since the price and quantity of DLC is what usually stops them from paying.

Read before commenting.

Good luck trying to enforce that rule. It's a discussion. If someone doesn't like something, then they should have the right to speak without everyone saying "lololol liek, y u even waste ur tiem comin here den?!"
Is this really news worthy? :/
It's as newsworthy as any other sale.

So... not that newsworthy?

Personally, I enjoy the games, but the DLC is ludicrously overpriced. This is definitely an improvement, but it's still not quite enough to make it worthwhile.

I didn't really mean it as a 'rule', but really just a disclaimer to prevent a flamewar from starting.
But then again, it's not my fault if people derail the topic and start breaking rules.

Seeing as sales have been posted here before (especially since the thread before this one is a sale thread posted by a staffer), I'm assuming sales are newsworthy enough to be in the USN.

Got 13$ left in my PSN wallet and im missing the Rezurrection DLC

Guess this would be a good way to spend it

I really believe that this should be the price of DLC in the first place - CoD or not.

That being said, i do have all the maps pirated on the PC version. But i still have my PSN CoD buddies overseas who have been nagging on me to get this map pack, so be it. Meh Treyarch deserve it - even though a lot of the money just goes straight to Activision.

... Time to dust off the PS3.

Im forced to use the UAE store, and the map pack actually costs 19,49$ (tax shit) at the time, i hope it will be slightly under 13$

EDIT: it cost 8,99$

I feel like an idiot spending around 18$ when the map packs were first released. Oh well.

I'm not arguing, I'm just saddened by one's opinion.

I feel sorry for people who bought Elite. I had a feeling this was about to happen within the Elite timeframe, and it did.

Also, are the MW3 packs worth it? I'm a sucker for more content, and LOVE Spec Ops Survival.
