Gaming Club Nintendo Platinum/Golden Rewards Prediction Thread (2011-2012)

i just went from being plattinum to gold, does that mean i'm already gold for next year, or that they downgraded me for this year?

i take it this was your first year using club nintendo?

i'm pretty sure, that gold status you guys are talking about, is not gold status. There is a bar beside it, just representing the amount of coins needed to get gold status. No one has any status yet, unless you have a ton of codes saved

This. And thanks for pointing it out, cuz I didn't notice it until after I registered some new points today. I'm halfway to gold now, 1/4 the way to Platinum. 364 days to go LOL.

Just so you know a lot of the coin values for many games dropped by quite a bit for the new Club Nintendo year. The only games that are still worth full coin value are games that still cost full price like Super Mario Galaxy 2 and New Super Mario Bros. Wii etc.. All Nintendo Select titles fell to 20 coins from 50, while games like Donkey Kong Country Returns and Super Smash Bros. Brawl dropped to around 30 coins from 50. I know Tales of the Abyss for 3DS is one of the only games to gain in value which went from 30 coins up to 40 for this year.

Why doesn't the UK/Europe have Platinum and Gold rewards? We don't get any extra perks for spending loads of money each year on Nintendo games.
I think if they do it in the US, they may as well do it everywhere else. They really should to give the same choice to everyone. Unless we do? But I've not seen any pages about it

This arguement works for everyone both ways. You guys don't get platinum rewards, but you guys get more things included in your club nintendo, like the kid icarus 3d classic download code. Japan gets gold classic controllers one year for a reward, america gets pins and calendars. some countries don't even get to have a club nintendo. I'm not against your opinion, but it does vary. We'll probably get stickers and calendars this year, lol.

I saw the list, and most of the games that I haven't registered yet were actually going up. That's why I waited.

True, not having Club Nintendo at all would suck, especially seeing as some people who buy the games even know what Club Nintendo is!

I don't even see a 24 game case on the prize list or I would get one.
A link cap would be cool, but knowing my luck, it would be made of cheap felt material and not worth a crap. LOL
