Hacking Bought an R4 SDHC wifi card, stuck.

Hey everyone, i'm new to these forums but almost every google search brought me here.

I bought an R4 SDHC card, it has a little wifi logo and it says V1.4.1.
I Have a Nintendo 3DS with firmware 4.1.0-e8

I've tried installing the latest software on the r4 card via my micro sd card.

What happens is that it shows a spongebob icon when i insert the card and when i launch it it says "An error has occurred press and hold the power.. etc"

Is my card even compatible with my 3DS? And does anyone know what i can do next.

Isn't it the V2.2 that's compatible with 4.1.0.8?

no he has the R4i SDHC 1.4.1 by R4i-Sdhc.com

My son uses an Ak2i on his 3DS and it works flawlessly. Decent support from the website. Out of all the flashcarts I've used, AK2i is the best in my opinion.

You guys clearly don't know what you're talking about, the R4i SDHC 3ds is just a renamed R4i SDHC v1.4, you can still update the R4i SDHC as long as its says v1.4 to the latest firmware using this site:

Note: If you have a R4i-SDHC with mark "V1.4", you can have it updated for 3DS V2.0.0-2 and you do not need to buy this 3DS version.

How to tell whether your R4i SDHC 3DS been updated or not ?

1. Disney/Pixar Finding Nemo Escape to the Big Blue THQ

- Not updated, compatible with 3DS V1.0.0-0 / V1.0.0-1, DSi 1.4.1 and lower versions. (If you want to use R4i SDHC 3DS on both 3DS and DSi, you should have R4i SDHC 3DS updated for DSi 1.42 firstly, then do the update for 3DS system )

2. SpongeBob's Atlantis Squarepantis THQ

- Updated for DSi 1.42, compatible with 3DS V1.0.0-0 / V1.0.0-1, DSi 1.4.2 and lower versions.

3. Chessmaster Ubisoft Entertainment

- Updated for 3DS V2.0 / V2.1, compatible with 3DS V2.1.0-3 / V2.0 / V1.0, DSi 1.4.2 and lower versions.

4. Konami Digital Entertainment

- Updated for 3DS V2.2.0-4 / DSi XL V1.4.3

5. Disney Interative Studios

- Updated for 3DS V3.0.0-5 / V3.0.0-6 / V4.0.0-7 / V4.1.0-8 / DSi XL V1.4.4

Seeing as yours is spongebob, you need to put the 1.51b kernal i believe into the memory stick's root and put the flash cart in a DSi or DS Lite or DS XL, when it boots, update the kernal from the settings and there you go! Next time you turn your DS on it should show Prince Caspian logo which means the kernal has been fully updated and will work on the latest 3DS version.

Not to sound rude but it's silly how ignorant some people are and mislead you to spend more money when they clearly don't know what they are talking about
