Initially, my wii used to work just fine before I started updating everything (homebrew channel, usb loader gx, etc). My wbfs formatted hdd would load up games just fine and I had no problems whatsoever. After doing some kind of cios update, I lost all functionality to my usb drive.
So, what I did was, I formatted my wii, upgraded from 4.1 to 4.2 and re-softmodded using the latest guide on 'another forum'. (found out in the end that this was pointless..) So then with the newly done softmod, my syscheck looked like this: http://syscheck.softwii.de/n6390RVO
The problems with the above configuration are;
After updating my cios to d2x cios beta v9 r49, usb loader gx stopped hanging at 'initialize usb device' and now counts down from :20, resulting in 'usb device not found' and homebrew channel still doesn't open unless I disconnect the usb drive.
Here is my syscheck after doing the d2x v9 update: http://syscheck.softwii.de/94qKwxhj
If you can help me resolve this, that would be greatly appreciated. There is no problem with my hdd. This is more than likely an issue with cIOS. I am not sure which cIOS I had initially when everything worked before doing updates. It was more than likely some older stable version before v7...I think.

The problems with the above configuration are;
- -homebrew channel will not open unless I disconnect my usb hard drive.
- Usb loader gx 3.0 will hang at 'Initialize usb device'
- Other loaders either freeze and can't detect the usb drive for some reason..
