To celebrate Kirby's 25th anniversary of his first title Nintendo announced a few months back that a Kirby Collection would be headed to the Wii this year with very little details, it has now emerged the games to be included in this collection are Kirby's Dreamland (Gameboy), Kirby's Adventure (Nes), Kirby's Dreamland 2 (Gameboy), Kirby Superstar (Snes), Kirby's Dreamland 3 (Snes) and Kirby 64:The Crystal Shards (N64). Other details included for the title include a calender listing all of Kirby's history.
While 4 are already on the Wii's VIrtual Console and 2 can be found on the 3DS's Eshop all that matters is a price I suppose to make it worth it

All great games, just hope it's cheap ($30 seems appropriate). And even if it's not, at least it's not a rehash of a previous release with a CD that has a few songs from the series and a very small book about stuff we mostly already knew.

Let the bitching begin? Those are all the best Kirby games!! I thought for sure they'd leave out Super Star, but nope... what's the problem?

the line of thought was that when Nintendo did this kind of collection for Mario's 25th they admittley shoved Mario All Stars on a dvd with a music cd and a book, obviously there was a lot more they could have put on there like Mario World and Mario 64 but i recall there being a lot of bitching about it even thought it was meant to be a collectors item

That seems like a pretty solid collection, through and through. Any disappointed Kirby fans just have to make like the character and suck it up.

Um..... I don't mean to offend but what other games did you expect? Has Kirby had a massive wealth of core games that I'm not privy to? I know we have things like blockball, pinball, dream course, avalanche and the like but we're getting into side attractions compared to what is being delivered.

I'll probably buy it. But nightmare in dreamland was the one I played the most out of all the series, too bad it's not included.

you know nightmare in dreamland was a remake of kirby's adventure right?

Seriously? xD I have never heard that before.. I guess I'm definitely going to get this then!

I'm surprised they made an actual collection.
this doesn't come as a surprise. Kirby is Iwata's baby after all...

same reason why he is the best character in SMB
I think you meant Sakurai.
no, Iwata
he was the president of HAL laboratory (the developers of Kirby and SMB)
That may be true, but Sakurai made both Kirby and Super Smash Bros, he just helped.
