The German language Mass Effect Facebook page has said to keep a close eye on Nintendo’s E3 press conference, which takes place this afternoon. This has led many to speculate the game is gearing up for a release on Wii U

if this is real it could be like a HD collection of all games

If EA were going to announce that they probably already would have during their own conference.

Odd that EA's conference had no word on Mass Effect what-so-ever, they did have a small presentation for Star Wars The Old Republic though, which ended with no applause what-so-ever.

I don't see it happening.

There are so many rumors that come out the day before E3. Most of them being unreliable sources, and on the off-chance that they get lucky and are right, seem more credible.

Game press aren't PC fans.

If the rumour is true, then hopefully it's no port. Maybe a side story like the smart phone game.

EA should port the smartphone game to the Wii U.

To be serious, don't Microsoft hold some rights to the first Mass Effect as they published the game. Mass Effect 2 and 3 are free from that. So I doubting there's going to be a Mass Effect trilogy collection.

Even if they wanted to, I'm sure EA wouldn't let them. Heck, even if they did, it'd probably be rushed due to some deadline.

Unlikely. Microsoft owns the first Mass Effect basically, hence why it wasn't on the PS3.

I was just about to post this.. It's not going to be a HD collection, since ME1 is MS licensed and they will never license it to a competitor console. I could imagine some kind of collection of ME2 and ME3, but then again, I'd imagine a new game for the WiiU being made. I'm a bit divided in regards to ME being a great hit for the WiiU with a collection, since most people who have been interested in the series have either played it with the 360/PC from the beginning (ie started with ME1) or the PS3 (started with ME2). Hopefully it does get released. At least the people, who haven't enjoyed the games because of the games not being on the Wii, can enjoy the great experience of the Mass Effect universe (especially ME1/ME2, Drew Karpyshyn is one of the best script writers in RPG history IMHO).

Nope.
Nintendo's E3 is over, isn't it?
Nope.
Tomorrow they will have an extra hour to talk about games only, but I believe it's only for the 3DS, also, not being on the E3 doesn't mean anything, there's plenty of awesome games that are never announced on E3.

Its only exclusive for the "current gen" consoles...however people could debate if Wii U is next gen just like they did with Wii.

I completely doubted a HD collection, EA wouldn't have put two let alone three recent titles on one disc.

To me this seems kinda pointless having the 3rd game and not the others seeing its a story driven title (but hey PS3 got 2 & 3), they may have been better off porting something else.
