After turning on Wii, i press A to skip health and safety warning and all i get is a black screen. It was working fine a couple of days ago.
All cabled are in check and working, i get the sound effect upon pressing A and can read the health and safety warning on the screen. But afterwards only a black screen?

Wii has never been modded, bought myself from a shop (GAME) brand new.

Any way to work out the problem?

Well can't be the BT module, since he can press A.

Doesn't that actually seem like a banner brick? But on an unmodded Wii that is really unlikely... weird

Im getting sound and video in theory, just nothing after Press A and little sound effect, nothing thereafter. Cables haven't been touched since i can remember either.

I will try the maintenance screen later today, any other suggestions? Do Wii's hit the bucket like PS3 and 360's sometimes?

Wii is well out of 1year warranty.

You could pay Nintendo to fix it, but apparently...well, just do it.
