Wow the graphics are looking incredible, almost would mistake it for a PS Vita game.

(Note the pictures are taken/scanned from a magazine and the quality isn't quite good)

I mean incredible I have yet to see any real difference in graphics between 3DS and Vita honestly I dare say they look better on 3DS, I've played Vita still not happy with it, sure its got a better resolution screen whoop'd do seriously! :P

Wow. I'm impressed. Extremely when Konami can come out with such standard for the 3DS.

I enjoyed the DS castlevanias a lot, so I'm quite confident about this one.

WOW, I thought Revelations was the limit of the 3ds graphics, but these just eat them for breakfast.

The one thing to jump out at me, is that he only has a whip in every instance of him fighting.

I don't mind the older Castlevania games, but I reeeeeeeeally hope this one has RPG elements like the previous DS games. IE, weapon variety.

Well, the Vampire Killer is a very famous Castlevania signature weapon.

Maybe that's why only whips are used in the images.

Well, yeah. Except anyone who uses the vampire killer typically is strictly a whip user.

Have you played Circle of the Moon?
Maybe it's like that game where the whip is used 80% of the time but with power up variations like fire, poison, petrification etc.
There were swords and other weapons like the hammer, but I don't remember using them that often.

The graphics and game play remind me of lords of shadows and I thought that game sucked big time. I'll reserve judgement until I play the demo but I'm not a fan of god of war style combo moves. I'd also rather have a pure side scroller than 2.5d crap. They should have pulled a rayman origins.

Looks really nice, it has a cool art style too...looking forward to it but I do hope the fighting gameplay is different to the first game.

Graphics look great but not fitting for a castlevania game. I love the nes games, symphony of the night, genesis, snes, the gba games are good, and I played the heck out of all three ds games. Non 2D side scrolling castlevania games are diarrhea and should not be made. Remember the N64 ones? If you don't remember them then you are lucky because they were complete crap.
I'm hoping for a harmony of despair 2 on 3ds with no expensive dlc.

They should have pulled a Mighty Switch Force in terms of style. Gameplay wise it's supposed to play like the DS Castlevanias but I'm still pretty skeptical after hearing about the combo system. I usually hate combos for non-fighting games.
My biggest fear is that this can potentially turn out to be a button masher with bad platforming and forgettable music.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed and sadly my expectations low for this one, but who knows? I might be blown away by it once I see some gameplay.

The pictures look promising at least.

Looks really nice and I believe it will look even better in motion.

It`s still very sad, that they abandoned the sprite-based graphics, because I always thought the handheld-CV-games were the finest examples of those for sure!

Also LoS had a very ... ending so I`m definitely eager to see what happens next!

It's a 2D game from a 3D View, something like SSFIV 3D.

Not all 3D castlevania suck. I don't think you played Castlevania: Lords of Shadows, that game was awesome you should give it a try, the camera is kind of anoying but that's probably the only downside of the game.
