Currently, members can only report individual posts, not posters. Can we get a "report as spambot" button? I think mods already have something like that.

There is a report button on peoples profiles already, along with the regular report posts button, isn't that enough?

Also mods don't have a report spambot button, we don't need that sort of thing as we have a button that IP bans a spambot and deletes all of its posts automatically.

What if a mod accidentaly clicks it? How does he/she pay back the helpless user?

It asks for confirmation that you are sure its a spambot, so you cant nuke someone accidentally.

Phew! Thank god (once again) for that.

I don't know how this system works, but vBulletin has a soft-delete option, where posts are not deleted, but hidden, so they can be undeleted later.
Does such a feature exist on IP.Board?

We have 2 possibilities to hide a post:
* Soft delete: Which hides the post but leaves a public message (visible by anyone).
* Unapprove: Hide the post from members, but leave it visible to mods.

Then there's of course Hard Delete, which removes the post entirely.

The Spambot feature is a custom feature for this forum though.
