I currently have WoodR4 v1.47 installed on my R4DS, but I haven't got an expansion pak though. Although... I do have NesDS v1.1b and LameBoy v0.12 on my Micro SD.

I wish to ask, what other emulators are available that I could use?

jEnesisDS is okish, the games tend to run fine bar the scaling of the screen, which always irritated me. NeoDs (Neo 'motherfucker ' Geo) is actually pretty good. Games tend to run at a good speed, though setting the emulator up can be a bit intimidating. As it can be a length process.

Regarding SnesmulDS, I would have to disagree with Skelletonike. It's not very good. Compatibility is hit and miss at best. It was only I bought a PSP, I realised how SNES emulation (or emulation in general) is on the DS.

neods (NeoGeo arcade/home), nesds, lameboy, dsdoom (doom1, 2, etc), quakeds, 1943ds, bombjackds, ds1942, dspack (plays about 80 different arcade games), knytt stories ds, another world ds, scummvm ds, solomon ds, s8ds (SMS, GG), PokeMini for NDS (emulates pokemon mini handheld games and homebrew), DSx86 (DOS games), msxDS (MSX1, MSX2 and MSX2+), A5200DS (Atari 5200), A7800DS (Atari 7800).

some of what i suggested only "emulate" one aspect of gaming, such as doom or the game another world, but all are worth checking out.

also read THIS entire thread for more information on ds emulation.

SNEmulDS and jEnesisDS
are good
edit: filetrip i demand you make my jEnesisDS lead to the filetrip page!!
I tried JEnesisDS before, but the scaling wasn't perfect as it would be in Sonic Classic Collection.

As for SNEmulDS, I wouldn't say it's that good with compatibility at the moment

Like I already said, I've got NesDS and LameBoy which work quite well. To be honest, I should really invest in a second-hand PSP.

I'll give DSx86 a go, just for a laugh to see it working and then I can edit the autoexec to boot into windows instantly. Like I did once with a virtual machine through VMWare.

I have lameboy, nesds and s8ds on my sd card to use through WoodR4. Although... I seriously can't be bothered with either JenesisDS or SnemulDS for obvious reasons, due to issues with scaling and incompatibility. Also, I don't have a expansion pak to support the extra memory to run larger games.

Anyway... we seriously need Mednafen ported to the NDS, but it would have to be built from scratch though, due to compatibility issues and restrictions.
