As you're reading this, please keep in mind, that I am not new to hacking/homebrew as I've had my Wii softmodded for about 3 years now, but I've kinda been playing catch up with the scene lately and I've just gotten into using NAND emulation, so just bear with me if I got my information wrong or facts mixed up.

So recently, as I've stated before, I've set up a form of nand emulation on my Wii. Currently my structure of my Wii is as follows. I still have the regular NAND, several IOSs opened up with the latest version of D2X. I have Priiloader installed, along with Crazy Intro which after playing the system start up video I've set up goes directly into USB Loader GX r1166 where it loads up my Wii games, Gamecube games through DML, and the Virtual Console games through the emulated NAND through my USB drive. Now, my USB drive has 2 partitions to it, the first being reserved for the Wii games which is around 120 gb in size and is using the NTFS file system. The other partition is where my NAND, Gamecube games (which are on there until USBGX loads them onto the SD card), and homebrew apps reside. It is 30 gb in size and is using the FAT32 file system. I have it this way because it's nice, it's clean, its mostly organized, and I have quick access to everything on my USB drive without having to switch to the regular system menu or other homebrew programs or channels, along with other features that USB Loader GX has including Wiinertag and ocarina codes. However, it seems that USB Loader GX has issues with loading larger newer games like King of Fighters 97, Samurai Shodown IV, Mario Party 2, Bomberman Hero, and so on. Normally showing a "Now Loading" screen and then just going black with no activity afterwards. It also seems that it's having issues with some Wiiware games, apart from the issue with no Wifi connection (which I'm aware of and resolved this by copying all my Wiiware games to my SD card to load through the SD card menu on the system menu), there are some glitches I've experienced with certain games like Castlevania Rebirth and Lostwinds. Either not loading at all or crashing during gameplay.

So I thought perhaps I would do some restructuring and change the method of which I load my Wii/gamecube games and run my emulated NAND. I considered using UNEEK, which allegedly has better NAND emulation than USB Loader GX does, with Wiiware games working better without glitches and with Wifi support. Although I haven't heard anything about the newer and larger VC games working through UNEEK. I tried running it without making any changes to the partitions on my HD. Didn't load. After further research I found out that I would basically have to reformat the partition and start all over again rebuilding the NAND. But upon further research I learned that when using UNEEK, loading and running Wii/Gamecube games aren't as easy as when I load them through USB Loader GX, having to use the DI menu and switching games one at a time and going through the emulated disc channel, which seems kinda tedious to me, although I could be wrong. And from what I can tell, there is no support for DML through UNEEK, but again, I could be mistaken. And not to mention if I were to switch to UNEEK and have everything running properly, I would have to reformat both my partitions and reload the NAND and all of my Wii and Gamecube games all over again, and I would like to avoid that if possible.

I considered using Mighty Channels, but that doesn't have the ability to load Wii and Gamecube games, only NAND emulation, and has the same problems with Wiiware that USB Loader GX has, and I can only assume the same for the VC games.

So my question is basically, is there a better/best way of having all my Wii/Gamecube/VC/Wiiware games consolidated into one loading system with all of them working and functioning properly, or should I just wait and see if perhaps USB Loader GX and/or d2x will be updated in the near future for better NAND emulation?

you can load games with UNEEK+DI using methods other than the DI menu. You can use joyflow, postloader, cfg-usb-loader mod and more. And most of them support DML (might require sneek+di).

Personally I use my real nand to load everything. I have uneek+di set up just for fun, but since I don't have tons of wiiware I don't really need it. I don't really use DML either, but it works via the real nand too.

So I managed to get UNEEK + DI to work. Postloader crashes when loading games from the emulated nand. Joyflow doesn't load. CFG USB loader mod doesn't have emulated nand support. USB Loader GX doesn't detect the Wii games I've loaded for UNEEK, and the nand emulation remains the same.

i have our family's wii set up the same as you. but instead of using neek+di, i moved to using neek2o launching with a channel then using postloader to swap nands. i have my nands set up as the emulatiors. this works out the best, an don't have any problems with crashing/not loading. i really don't go inside the usb loader,(just have one to use crap/wcgc(?). (makes customs channels to launch disk.). it's a lot easier for the kids to play the wii. an i don't have to worry about my 6yr son screwing things up just clicking away in some random menu, trying to play his games.
but back to neek2o, i like it. i don't have to have a different file system (disex). for my games, neek2o reads wbfs.( this was my main reason for moving to neek2o. just wish they would update so neek2o could use dml. the other good part is i can take my hard drive to my brothers house, an launch neek2o, without my sd card.
i've been play with gx for awhile, that an the newer wiiflow mod. can't really say any thing bad about either one. though they have bugs, at least they are the most current two loaders, an are worked on hard by the developers/testers.

I tried loading up USB Loader GX under neek2o for the hell of it, using the AHBPROT loader wad instead of the forwarder. Seeing if maybe it might be possible to fake it into thinking that the channels loaded onto neek2o are just regular nand channels and load up in that manner. The program actually loaded, it just gets stuck on the application IOS loading part.

But in any case, I requested SNEEK/UNEEK/neek2o support on the google code page anyway so hopefully it might be included in the next version or perhaps a mod.

Yes. None of the games on the neek2o nand are loading in it, unless there's something I'm missing, I have no idea what the problem is.

EDIT: I'm looking at the Google code page here. It says on the front page "MOD v2 (April-May 2012): -NAND emulation". Is it possible that he just hasn't released the mod with NAND Emulation in it yet?

One of the sites that weren't blocked on the school's network was some file uploading sites. I would upload some games, write down the URL and take it to school one day.

It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
