Hey Piko :D long time no see ;)
Anyways, how much did you pay alltogether? And how long are you already waiting for it?

Got it yesterday, unit is black !!!

Total 64.17 USD

I order it via Zarmark on March 30, payed 54.54 USD...
It came to Zarmak on April 17.
Payed 9.63 USD to Zarmark for shipment to Croatia on April 19
Came May 07. (Didn't came with TV-Out cable :( ).

Now I have extra GBA SP + EZ-Flash IV for sale :yaysp:

Thoughts: .... picture is "little" blurry (scaling), but screen is much better than on real GBA SP (I have last unit with better backlid) .... all games I tryed plays fine...., EZ-Flash IV does not work on K1 unit (says that there is no disk, .... works fine on real GBA SP) ....
I actualy take my SD card from EZ-Flash IV (microSD 2GB with MiniSD adapter), .... put K1 files on it (also pics and cheats), and put it in K1 unit ... and all works great, .... I finally have screenshots in file listing :moogle: . ... keeping save files is better handled on EZ-Flash, ... If I forgot to save "save file" my progress is lost, ... I didn't tryed emulator (GB, NES, etc.) yet...

Build quality ... errrm, ... real GBA SP is better, ... buttons on K1 is harder to push, little squiky first few hours, but now is fine... still harder to push than real GBA SP....

I have no pics to share (i have lousy camera on iPhone 3G so I see no point to take same, since there is better pics on web elseware)

Thanks a lot for all this!
So few things, if I get it right, you have backlit GBA SP (not frontlit) + EZ-Flash IV for sale? What would be the price for it both, and what would be for each item only?

Regarding this clone, I'd like to hear how it looks connected to a TV......if somebody has GameBoy Player for GameCube, if picture quality could be compared.
Also, $65 is a fair price! Not bad at all for everything that it allows you to play!

How's the battery life?

What's the saving like? Do you have to input a button combination like the Supercard?

Thanks for the feedback

For backuping save to SD you must press *+Start (*=brightness button)

Battery is now charging for first time, ... but when I got unit I use it out-of-box for 2-2.5 hours before turning red...

So to properly save a game, you have to first save in-game as per normal, then execute the "Brightness button + Start button" combination?

And how's compatibility with Pokemon games? I'm concerned about the real-time clock issue

You also mentioned cheats, so I take it that it actually has a working cheat function unlike the EZ-4?

Interesting that the EZ-4 doesn't work. I remember reading that it will accept some flash carts, so I figured that it would be on the list. Not that you would need a flash cart for it if you use the k-cart.

@ kmihalj: Can I just clarify something. You said the screen was better than the SP. Is it better than the backlit model (AGS-101) or were you just saying that that's the model you have?

Yes, ... it is better than AGS-101 (I have that one).... brighter, better, .... in-game is visible little blur because difference in resolution, but pixels are not visible (resolution) as on real GBA SP, ... generally picture is better.... screen is better

when is someone going to comment on how bad'good Pokemon Games run and if RTC works with Emerald?

I'm playing pokemon red and leaf green at the moment - game is perfect.

For Ruby / Sapphire / Emerald - I haven't gotten to really play them yet - Since I'm in the middle of exams.
But Its got no in built battery - obviously. So it says that when you turn the game on. (haven't tried any patching or anything like that - I think theres some sort of patch for the time) It should work fine bar the time doesn't change while you play it.

Hope that answers your question til I get a chance to actually try it. Have to test the battle music in it too for someone else!

Excellent info you guys. It's a shame about the build quality/buttons being hard to push in. But I'm guessing for everything that it offers that little thing can be overlooked?

I'm definitely getting one now. Unfortunately it looks like I'm going to have to go through the method that you guys are using since no major sites seem to be carrying it. But if the method of ordering is working then that's cool...

I'd love to see more videos about this.

I watched a video about it, where someone (Probably Maxzhou88) downloaded a nes game to a normal gameboy via link cable and then played two player in that game :P ...It was pretty impressive! I don't think that the normal ones we have can do that though!!

EDIT : http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMzMxODE3NDEy.html From about 5 minutes on.

Sorry for the double post, but I just watched his video again - You press L+R together while playing a nes game. go to link transfer, wait for it to transfer. Then set the second gameboy to link p2, then do that with the first gameboy and they pair up. It works, I just tried. But it depends on how well the nes game works to begin with!! :P

Very interesting though :)
