We're a month away from E3 but Blockbuster reckons it's got the Wii U software line-up all figured out, listing 25 titles for pre-order.
The list, according to photos sent to GoNintendo, is:
  • Aliens: Colonial Marines
  • Assassin's Creed III
  • Batman: Arkham City
  • Darksiders II
  • DiRT 3
  • Formula 1 All Stars
  • Game Party
  • Ghost Recon Online
  • Just Dance 4
  • Killer Freaks from Outer Space
  • Marvel Super Heroes
  • Metro Last Light
  • Monsters Party
  • New Super Mario Bros. Mii
  • Ninja Gaiden III
  • Pikmin 3
  • Rabbids Party Land
  • Raving Rabbids
  • Rayman Legends
  • Shield Pose
  • Splinter Cell 6
  • Sports Connection
  • Tekken
  • Your Shape 2013
  • Zombie
Some of these are dead certs — many were confirmed as being in development at E3 last year — but others seem less plausible: Shield Pose is unlikely to fly as a solo retail release, and two Rabbids games is the definition of overkill.
Remember as always this is just a rumour. We'll find out how accurate it is in just four weeks.
I guess that's interesting. We shall wait and see if this is true.

I really, really want it to be true. This list is fucking amazing! Unhopefuly, I have doubts, as we hardly know anything about the system itself, and the Starting titles list surfaces?

Considering that Ghost Recon Online is a downloadable title only, I would say this is either make believe or speculation on BB half.

Also Dirt 3? Wouldn't Codemasters do the latest version? Then there's Splinter Cell 6, they've not shown a thing from it so there's no way it'll make Wii U launch at all. Its a big budget release for Ubisoft and I'd doubt we'll see that on any console until this time next year...that and if its out on launch it'll go against all the other big Ubisoft releases and Ubisoft wouldn't want a new IP like Killer Freaks...to go up against ACIII & Rayman Legends as well as whatever Nintendo has.. Seven of those titles are Ubisoft, usually Ubisoft crap out a few old ports and one new title for a Nintendo console launch

New Super Mario Bros. Mii................... this is so fake.
Yeah, it was already said to be nothing more than a tech demo, so this list is either fake, or just really outdated or something.
Actually it was confirmed by Nintendo that the Wii U Mario title is based on that concept. Though I'm hoping for something different seeing that the 3DS will get a NSMB a few months before.

cod bo2 surely

I thought Activision announced that they're not supporting the Wii U or something. I remember reading some article where someone was like "Baaaah the Wii U is doomed to fail without CoD!" Correct me if I'm wrong.

But most of this stuff was "announced" (well, "announced" as in "something along these lines will happen" not "full reveal with name, details, etc") or it's just random stuff. I wouldn't take this list too seriously.

50% shovelware already

Do remember that the list is both incomplete (known games like Project Cars isn't on it), and that shovelware infects ALL systems (x-box and anything with the word "kinect" in the title). Also, shovelware shouldn't detract from whether a system is good or not unless shovelware is the only thing released for 6 months at a time (ala Wii). Also there is the fact that this list of games predates the console release by at least another 4-5 months.

Cash cows need milking , maybe even a super secret launch title . But i cannot see them refusing it , i think cod3 was a wii launch title , and they have since released a whole host of cod games across wii and handhelds , i just cant see it not happening. Christ you can play it on a smartphone.

I think the CoD games on the Wii and DS always got a later announcement and release, I'm not into CoD so I' cant tell you for sure. But what I do know is that Activision can't say anything before a formal announcement at the moment, so interviewers get the usual no plans response. Given the fact that Nintendo want more third party support and Activision could effortlessly port it with some extras I don't see why they wouldn't give it a proper release on the Wii U. I mean they would still get a good amount of revenue no matter how sales would look like.

The list seems to be nothing more than a bunch of speculation on blockbusters part judging from some of the titles listed, it's just like those gamestop 3DS placeholder titles for non-existing games.

You forgot the Zelda HD. Also I think Ghost Recon Online and was already announced. Try looking at the Wii U game line-up ;)
