Misc how come my brother keeps getting the event swapnotes?

scratch the old title with new title: How come I'm not getting the even swapnotes?

I have none so far. what's the explanation for this? We both use the same wifi. I didn't get the valentines day one, the fight dragons, reggie and mothers day. basically, all the NA events O_O the only event thing I've ever gotten was the reggie mii visiting streeplaza for the one year anniversary. He even has the nikki mii on his streetplaza.

First of all, start Letterbox (or Swap Note, in North-America), and follow these instructions:

Tap the arrow, at the right-bottom most corner of the screen, and select "Settings":

Make sure you've got "Special Letters" set on "Receive", as shown below:

Note: You will not receive old Special Letters anymore, but there's a good chance you'll get the one for Mother's Day.

You can also get the event swapnotes from him , just get him to send you a swapnote with the event stationary and read the message backing out of the message will then save the stationary.
