It loads the games off of an sd card. That's something the wii can't even do. Man, I would give anything to have that. But since I'm not rich, my only hope is that the playstation vita will be capable of doing this once it gets hacked.

Um the wii can load off of SD

Yeah but I heard compatibility wasn't so great. Also I tried it on my wii but it didn't work for me. So I stuck to using blank DVDs for gamecube backups. Still, being to play those games on a handheld would be awesome.

I hope that wii u will have gamecube virtual console which you can play on wii u controller.

Depending on the specifications, get a netbook, modify it to include a sensor bar, download Dolphin Emulator and copy some games onto an external HDD... Sorted.

It's not the same, but oh well...

Do you guys think the vita or maybe a powerful android tablet (like the asus transformer prime) will ever be capable of doing this? I can't stop watching the video. I want it :(

Rofl the Wii can do everything and so much more the Gamecube can first of all. And the compatibility is actually very good, however, NMM compatibility is not so good.

seems like it would be a bit uncomfortable to play GameCube games on it but it'd be awesome to be able to play those games on the go!
