The other day my Nephews messed around with my PS2 and now my 16MB "MAX" memory card is 100% full of corrupted data. Is there any way to delete, move, or format the entire memory card? Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated. BTW I DO NOT have a modded PS2.

Did they play any resident evil games?16mb Max can become corrupted if you save to it.

No, just normal kid games like "The Incredibles" or "Finding Nemo" I believe they might have messed with the memory card or turned the system off while it was saving or something.

I had an issue with my Memor32 (same basic thing, just bigger) which I used for saves. After I saved one particular game on it the data became corrupted. I beleive I was able to formatt it just using the PS2 memory card formatting. Does it not let you do this?

Those memory cards are of crap quality and that kind of thing tends to happen with such. To avoid such in the future, stick to official Sony brand memory cards, or one of the 2nd party memory cards like Katana 16MB / 32MB or the old MadCatz 8MB (the one piece of hardware they made that isn't junk :P)Unfortunately, formatting it is difficult. Regular PS2 software doesn't normally offer a Format option unless the card file system is beyond buggered and not even recognized as formatted. Without that, 3rd party software like Action Replay Max / CodeBreaker, or homebrew like PS2 Memory Card Killer is needed. There was also a glitched demo disc which would do horrible things to your memory cards so the option to format would appear, I think it was some holiday disc with Viewtiful Joe on it.

what a load of rubbish, i have 3 max memory cards and they are nearly 4 years old and still work, backup your hate with facts first before you start spouting.
I have experience with such. I also know this from other people who have used them. But if it makes you feel better, you can join the list of people I've found with no negative experiences with the cards.

JoveHack (GameFAQs PS2 system board)
jalaneme (GBATemp PS2 system board)

Yeah, the list is that short. The problem with such cards is that as 3rd party hardware, they don't have set standards they have to comply to, so they tend to use cheap materials for production. I personally have tried both their PS2 32MB video cards and 2GB ProDuo memory sticks, both have been nothing but problems. The PS2 card would randomly corrupt saves, refuse to save others (mostly Sony and Square games, which have been known to block high capacity memory cards) and then eventually failed completely taking a couple of hundred hours worth of saves. The PSP memory stick was less problematic, but would randomly refuse to be read, the only stick with which I've had such problems on either of my PSPs.
